I have patronized this Bakery four or five times in the past for birthday cakes for my family. this year in March on my birthday, didn't order my cake in advance, instead my husband from Oaxaca went into the bakery to tell them what we wanted to see if it was already available. The person behind the counter said they did have that cake that someone else did not pick up so he bought it, we brought it home and it was nothing like we asked for. No big deal, figured the person behind the counter was just trying to get rid of it. This past week of July 3rd, my husband's birthday. I went in to order his cake Tuesday, about four or five days in advance. The lady behind the counter is the wife that owns the business with her husband. I described her that we had purchased for him last year which we did receive. It's a cake that has an extra layer of flan and a layer of Tres Leches basically sweetened condensed milk with fruit cut up in the layers. I had asked for this and although I personally did not believe that it was a complicated order, I don't speak Spanish like my husband so I tried to tolerate the rudeness and her voice as she Drew out a description on paper three or four times, that was no problem since I wanted to be clear about what we wanted, the problem was her talking down to me as if I were stupid explain to me what Tres Leches was and I told her I knew this already, I said I wanted to be sure the cake was correct and mentioned the experience I had in March, and she dismissed it without any consideration saying she doesn't know what cake I got. No problem, my husband really wanted this cake, I know this, he works hard 60 hours a week I'll do anything for him to make him happy. This difficult moment is when she got on the phone to talk to the cake maker and instead of referring to me as a customer, simply said there is an American here who wants whatever she described in Spanish, then she got off the phone and told me it would be an extra $15. Ask me if I want to put a deposit on the cake, which both were new for me I had never heard before but again, no problem at all I'll pay extra and for it in full. She asked me to fill out a form completely in Spanish and when I told her I did not understand how to fill it out since I don't speak the language, she's simply rolled her eyes at me and tapped on the part of the form she said just write not sign my name on. When she rolled her eyes at me it made me suddenly realize who she was.Since I had worked at a Mexican restaurant in Hiram I knew the family that owns this Bakery visited every Sunday and only allowed a particular Mexican to serve their table, one time I tried to refill their chips trying to help out and she looked at me the same way asking me where their server was. Later I told my husband that I hoped his cake was correct when I picked it up on Monday because of the way the lady treated me, I had my doubts. I have no problem paying in full or even paying extra for what he wanted, but the way this lady treated me in my opinion made it obvious that she has a major distaste for Americans and unfortunately racism runs rampant everywhere. I called Saturday to give the time I would be there Monday, a different very nice lady did her best to speak and repeated the correct order to me. As I cut into it I saw that this cake did not have the extra flan that we paid $15 for. The lady I'm referring to was there when i came, she was extremely fake kiss my ass nice to me at pickup. I wondered at that time as I purchased more baked goods for the morning for breakfast, if it was because she knew the cake was wrong...there was no question to me that this was definitely intentional. I wish i had cut it On the counter in front of her to check it , but this is my mistake. Mi marido said never again. Business owners in this country should respect the people here also. This is not my first negative experience at any business, but it is the first time I've taken my time to do this...

I waited to see if they were going to do something about it before posting this review but no one cared to call me back. I ordered a cake last week for my son’s graduation that I picked up on 5/25. The lady who took my info, wrote down the type of cake I wanted which was supposed to be 3 leches with pineapple + coconut! I also wrote down my son’s name to be put under CONGRATULATIONS. I was charged $110 for it, medium sized 30 people cake. (more expensive than other bakeries near by) but since I was running out of time I decided to go ahead and order it there. The day I picked up the cake it did not have my son’s name on it as we had agreed nor it looked like the picture I showed them. I didn't have time to complain or have them make another one so I took the cake to the party only to find out they did not make a 3 leches cake as I had ordered... This is very disappointing. I called the next day to speak to the lady who took my order but they told me she was off for the next 2 days and that she would call me back. She never called me back. I feel like I didn’t get what I paid for and the least they could do is apologize and offer me a partial refund. The black and white cake is what I showed them, the picture to the right is what I got. I asked for yellow border and they made gold, the diploma was supposed to be made edible but they used a paper one from a kit, I mean to many things not...

Disappointed! Very first visit to La Suprema bakery on cobb pkwy... Meh..not going back!

Especially went to pick up Tres leches cake slices. The women at the register didn't speak English, that's ok as she showed different varieties of tres leches that they have, and I picked 2 of them. At checkout, on the screen it said $4 per pastry cake, so the bill was supposed to be $8+ including tax, but the bill was exactly $10. The bill that she gave me didn't have any break ups. It just said $10. I questioned it, and the other lady who speaks English said no, it's $10. She was like you want to buy it or not??!!!! ridiculous! Whatever, I just paid $10.

I came home and tried the cakes..the taste is just one dimensional..sweet sweet, just felt ok. A few minutes after eating the cake, I felt this weird chemical taste in the back of my throat..looks like the whipped cream is not the original dairy cream. The chemical taste in the throat is lingering for many hours after. It seems like they have used artificial whipping cream or whipping cream powder.

So pricey for the artificially flavored tres leches cake..never going back.

Bad taste and arrogant customer service!!!

PS: This is NOT my first time trying tres...
