I noticed in Sunday's adthere was a promotion for the Samsung Galaxy 8 + for all major carriers. The offer pertain to upgrade new line with activation with the $200 gift card for Target. I went online for 4 days making sure that this was the best offer. I did the order and reserved it with a qualified upgrade for AT&T service. I arrived at the store yesterday June 16th around 6:30. The first problem of my visit I stood in the department in front of the phone displays. I noticed there were two Associates and I believe one to be a customer. No one addressed me one associate was on his cell phone texting. Another associate which was a female was sitting in a chair with a client. I believe the client to actually be a friend not an actual client. I stood there in front of the display for more than 10 minutes with no one contacting from the Department. Another associate in another department noticed me standing there. Then actually contacted me and asked me that I need help and then told me that the Associates in the department would help me. Then the young lady and the department explained to the young man which phone to go in the back and get me. About 2 to 3 minutes later the lady asked me for some personal information and at that point I really should have already had left because the customer service was not there. Before the gentleman Returns the young lady is still talking to the client that was sitting to the far left of me. The young lady was discussing with a teammate about paying a bill and being able to get a phone today. Once the lady got up from the seat to make a phone call. The teammate then ask me a few more questions. Once we discuss that it was AT&T and it was upgrade she informed me that the offer for the $200 gift card was not offered for AT&T. Now I've been on the website for 4 days I actually reserve the phone to different times. The website does show that is eligible for upgrade with activation with an offer of a $200 gift card for Target. She offered to keep my information for a later date for a promotion for AT&T upgrade. The website shows that it is available for upgrades for AT&T through Saturday June 17th. I have decided that I guess no longer will I be pursuing any purchases with Target mobile because I believe the Associates at the time chose socializing and texting on their phone to be more important. I just believe that we should have Associates there that believe in customer service and providing the best solutions for their clients. And if there is ever a misprint or a recollection that should be made so that the client is not left with wrong...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis my neighborhood Target. I went to return game that I bought for our Wii and I was given a download case for the game. Not sure why these are even sold. You can download any game you want at home without going to the store. Also this has happened before. Not a problem returning it before as we donāt put our 7 year old on any online games just for safety reasons. Except this time the young man that was in charge of returns that day would not let me return the game case. Mind you this is just a case, there is no physical game in the case. When I mean he wouldnāt listen to what I was saying. Omg he made into this big thing. Other employees were looking and laughing as if it was joke. Lie it was funny to them that Iām not getting any help with the wrong product I was given. I go to the back and on of their brand partners in the game section was just as surprised as I was. She even said that it was understandable and that it happens and that she never seen anyone have problems with returning this item. Now Iām out of $40 and I queasy the joke is on me. WOW I would expect this from another retailer but not Target. The reason why I even go to Target is for the experience. Iām beyond upset that this is what is being done. Doesnāt matter that I asked for a physical game, it doesnāt matter that I didnāt use the product, it doesnāt matter that I was returning the product with in the time allowed. These is crazy! So when all store fronts are close and everyone is shopping online and people donāt have jobs remember situations like this one. Because truly unbelievable, unfortunate, situation that didnāt have to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTarget has always been by far my favorite store since I was a little girl. When I got older I moved to Kennesaw and lived right across from the Target on Barrett Parkway. Fast forward a few years and I moved to Smyrna (about 5 years ago today), again right across from the Target. The staff at the Smyrna Target is absolutely AMAZING. I pretty much do all of my shopping here even if occasionally it means paying a little more. The staff is welcoming, friendly, always makes me laugh and after going here so much they are like family! Jacob by far has the most infectious personality and will always leave you with a smile. Briana will make you feel like you're the only person in the store, always making it a point to say how fabulous I am or ask how I'm doing, even if I'm 4 check out lanes over from her's. Hoda is the grandmother we all want and need. I will purposely stand in a longer line just because I want to check out with her. She's a doll and will make you feel like a million bucks. Brenda is quick and efficient and always has great recommendations on products. And Darryl who's always looking out for everyone's safety is someone you must get to know as well. He's always beyond kind, will make you laugh and always reminds you to have a blessed day. These are just a few of the people who make shopping here such a pleasure. The entire staff at this location is fantastic to work with. Keep up the great work Target...
