Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE!!! I went there to buy a battery for my car and they were very friendly and they told me that the battery had 3 year warranty and bla bla bla. So I ended buying a battery for over $160 dollars. Couple months later, my car broke down and my mechanic (that I know for over 20 years and also my close friend) told me that the battery was not good. Ok, I went back to the store and told them the problem, immediately they response was bad, they were saying that 95% of the time when mechanics blame the battery, the real problem is not the battery. So they took the battery and promising to “charge” the battery. 2 days later I got a phone call saying that the battery was perfect and bla bla bla. I said ok and took the battery and went straight to the shop where my car was. Got there and guess what?? The battery test from my mechanic said 0% life in the battery and the car did not start! I took another battery from the shop brand new and the car started right the way and the battery test on the brand new battery said “100% life”. So I went back to the store and they refuse to do anything to me. Not replacing, no money back, just like not gonna do anything. The manager told straight to my face “you can to to cooperate, go to the court, go to the police, I’m not gonna do anything to you, get out here” I called 2 other stores in Massachussets to see if they could replace the battery to me, but they said they couldn’t because the stores are individually owned. When I explain to them what happened, both said that was very weird that this guy Jhon (the manager) did not want to replace the battery to me, because it’s fairly easy to jhon to get reembolse by the corporation. I did called corporate and they try to talk to this guy jhon but I guess he has something against myself because they offer to give him a credit for the battery, but he refuse. So at this moment I have spent over $160 dollars and I’m stuck with a dead battery. Again, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE!!! Read moreUpdate: I originally had a very negative experience at this Batteries Plus location due to an unprofessional encounter with an employee. However, after I reached out to customer service, the district manager took my complaint seriously, conducted an investigation, and personally ensured I received a full refund for my battery.
Their willingness to take accountability, communicate with me directly, and resolve the situation completely changed my perspective. Mistakes can happen, but how a company addresses them is what truly matters. I appreciate their commitment to customer satisfaction and would give them another chance in the future.
OLD POST: I had one of the worst customer service experiences ever at this store. I went in to address an issue with a battery I purchased less than two years ago (still under warranty). The front desk employee, John Rinne, immediately cut me off while I was explaining the situation and began yelling over me, aggressively explaining the warranty process.
I politely asked him to lower his voice and let me speak, but he completely ignored me, continuing to shout and interrupt. When I tried to raise my voice just to be heard, he escalated the situation even more, screaming at me and refusing to provide warranty service. I left feeling disrespected and went to the dealership instead, where I bought a new battery without any issues.
This store seriously needs to re-evaluate who they have representing them. No customer should be treated with such hostility. I would never recommend this...

Went to the Marlborough store to replace my phone screen older gentleman tried talking me into to replace my battery as well I politely turned down the battery because i had no issues with my battery, well a female with glasses and black hair not sure of her name took my phone in tthe back and proceed to look up on the computer how to replace my screen and step by step followed whatever the computer said ( im sorry but she should have been trained to the point that she should not have had to waste time and pretty much google instructions) my husband also bought a battery for our key fob (that lasted 2 hours) well about and hour after i got home with my phone my screen started acting up and of course my phone started dying at 40 % . A few weeks later my husband decided to try giving it another chance and get my brothets screen fixed well the same female helped my brother and had no shame in showing her attraction to my brother she even went out of her way to put her number in my brothers phone “incase there was problems “
