I do NOT recommend this place at all! The comment I'm making is in reference to the Martinsburg store located at 970 Foxcroft Ave Suite #107.... As some of you know, I do troubleshooting for a Financial Institution which means I need my phone at times to identify outages and recreate issues. With that being said, I broke the screen of my phone and went to this place to have my screen fixed (I could and should have used my insurance since it was cheaper and guareenteed but I couldn't wait because I worked that Sunday). When I went to have the screen fixed, they didn't have the screen in so he offered me a Galaxy Note & told me if I had issues to bring it back and they'd fix my phone because they should have the screens in stock ($192+ which was the same price to have my screen fixed).. long story short the phone he sold me was a faulty device and had to be returned so I went to get my phone fixed. Well my phone turned out worse! Now I have a phone that freezes, at times will not dial numbers, does not connect to bluetooth, and the front camera quality is dark and blurry! Fast forward, I took my phone back yesterday and told them to either fix what they messed up or take the screen out and give me my money back since my phone is still under their warranty policy... they had the audacity to tell me no to both of my request and they didn't break it. (PAUSE) There was another customer in the store (there was only 2 of us) who stated the same guy broke her phone the same way but now she can't hear and talk on it unless it's on speaker phone (That's a 100% of unsatisfied customers with broken phones that the owner refused to take ownership for)... With that being said... RUN, RUN FAR AWAY LIKE THE GUY IS ON THEIR SIGN... Guess I'll being seeing you in small...
Read moreI’m not usually a person who will go out of the way to post negatively but I’d like to give fair warning not to pay in full before having your product finished by this store.
I was trying to save a couple dollars after I was given an Apple Watch Series 1 that had a crack. I had made a million calls and to try to find someone to fix it, no avail. The man I’m presuming who owns to store was the only one who said could help me, I was beyond excited. He promised that it’ll be $89.99 to have it completely repaired and that it would be a quick/easy fix. I saw the reviews here and felt this person could be trusted. I go in, gave them my watch and went ahead and fully paid (which was actually $96.76.. but ok)so it could be out of the way.
To allow time, I waited two days and heard nothing. It came to the weekend and I decided to call at 1pm. Word for word, “I’ve checked the tracking and it says it’s out for delivery. As soon as I get in, I’ll have it fixed and ready for you today. “ Great! .... 5pm rolls around. They close at 6. I call again to be told that the screen hasn’t been shipped! To put on top, it MAY be there on Monday.
Well, I went ahead and bought a brand new watch and got my product and refund returned. He flat out lied. I honestly don’t believe he even ordered it because I’m sure if the whatever company he used had made an error like that, they would have overnighted it. Read moreMy phone had no activity that i could detect but a slight vibration, but somehow, my alarm woke me up that morning. I went to my provider and replaced it despondent in the fact that, everything on my old cell was lost. The salesman recommended ConnectACell, saying, "He might be able to do something."
When i walked in to ConnectACell i was not sure what to expect, but there were three other customers ahead of me, so i waited. Rizz looked it over. Was straight with me, even said he might be able to get it completely working again.
In the end, he had to make my old phone into a Frankenstein of a thing, but he got my old data off of it. Day 1 i had no hope of getting anything.
Every time i walked into ConnectACell there were customers waiting! Every time i talked with Rizz he was professional, honest, and complete in his explanation of what he had done, what he was going to try and do, what he might be able to do. He never tried to tell me something he couldn't do, or couldn't deliver. He never told me yes, 100% when there was a chance it wouldn't work. He also did not over charge me. When it looked like the repair was going to be a 100% success, but then that had failed, he only charged me for what was successful.
This may be a long review, but Rizz has won me over. I cannot recommend this man, and business...
