Hana Maui Pizza — Attraction in Maui

You will get surprised by this humble food truck by the road. Pizzas are prepared in a pizza Napolitana style in an unexpectedly authentic way. I was puzzled how could the dough be so thin, crusty and airy while coming out of a food truck.

I recommend Posh pizza, which is the most unique pizza I ever had. Besides the already familiar ham, mozzarella and tomato sauce you get a sliced heart of a palm and a pink sauce over the pizza. Considering the textures and flavours, pizza is very tasty and well balanced. Kudos to the owner for the effort and originality in his approach.

After a meal, friends and I exchanged stories with the owner Mr Posh, who is not only an impressive pizza chef but a kind and a funny person.

The girl who took the order was nice and friendly but unfortunately this is the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I ordered a few things from other food trucks, this pizza was the slowest, yet it came out semi cold that the cheese had no sign of melting. We continued driving to a park 5 mins away so couldn’t drive back and reheat the pizza.

Not only the pizza wasn’t cooked. Everything on it fell apart when I picked it up. The toppings were extremely salty.

They also charged 3% if you pay by card but other food trucks...

While on vacation with my family. We tried this pizza right on Hana Hwy. At first, I thought I was just regular food truck pizza, but this pizza is more than that. The toppings are fresh. The crust is light and crispy. I ordered the meat lovers and it was not soggy at all. I am so impressed. The flavor was amazing. My kids ordered the Hana bay and they loved it.
