Lahaina Henna - Braids & Temporary Tattoos — Attraction in Maui

As a personal business owner, I found this so rude, I stopped by the other day to get a hair wrap done, Julianna was going to do it for me and told me to come the next day at 11 and texted me her number in case she had to cancel but told me if she doesn’t text me to show up. The next day I showed up right on time and she flaked on me, another person was there who doesn’t do hair wraps and said that Julianna had just left and won’t be back till early evening. So frustrating that I pushed other plans aside and ubered over there to find out that this is the situation. Unreliable and waste of my time. This discord could have been avoided if she had just communicated with me at least a couple hours earlier than the time we were supposed to meet to give me a heads up that she’s cancelling. She finally called me back after and was defensive about it, saying she had an emergency she had to go to and that it was not...

Edit: the ink was left on for 5 hours with no contact with water in that span. She scrubbed off the ink after 5 hours and it was a bit dark in one spot but pretty splotchy in others. We waited the 24 hours. In fact we waited the full 4 days and now it's barely visible. We went back for a touch up and will update if improved the second go around.

I went to leave a review and was a but surprised by the rating. The artist was super nice but the tattoo just didn't turn out well. My wife let it dry and didn't touch it. Then scrubbed the ink off after about 6 hours as recommend and it came out dark in some places and light in others. A bit splotchy. My daughter had a wonderful experience at Lahaina Henna. We were extremely happy with her experience and the results. Raya braided her hair which lasted 6 days and maybe would’ve lasted more but my daughter was anxious to see the waves the braids created and so took the braids out after day 6.
