So I went to d tropics about a year ago for window tint, I told the gentleman that I wanted the 2 year warranty window tint on my 2008 Ford Fusion. He kept insisting that I should get the lifetime warranty 3m window tint that it was better. Which I definitely agree. Though I don't have the money so I could only get what I could afford. So I told him no thank you. That I wanted my 2 year warranty 3m window tint and it went about 120 dollars if I'm not mistaken. I waited about 15 minutes and the guy told me that there was a 40 removal fee for my old window tint which was ridiculous , window tint removal shouldn't be charged to much in my opinion, I understand that some people use strong adhesives to glue the tint to the window , but I explained to the guy that I could do it in 5 minutes that my window tint was applied with the water and soap method ,he insisted that it wouldn't work, so I finally agreed after going back and forth, after 30 minutes the guy charged my 305$ dollars for the lifetime warranty And the removal. I was spoken because I only had 200 dollars on me. I explained to him that I didn't choose that window tint and he said that I did, I told him that maybe it was a misunderstanding that I don't have enough money. I work in the customer service field to, and I understand that no one is perfect. The guy looked disappointed /worried. I know how this feels. So I told him that I'll get the money and I had to barrow money from my mother. All I have to say that no one should be put through that situation I struggled for almost a whole month, I got paid min wage back then so I would budget my spendings . It's been one year, and the window tint is awesome, I got my money's worth! Definitely recommend the lifetime warranty 3m window tint! The application was very good, smooth cuts in the edges products is awesome! customer service is not so well, but hey you can't judge the place with just one sales...
