Taco Bell — Restaurant in McAllen

I live near this one and I love Taco Bell, the foods always mid but it’s nostalgic for me so I love Taco Bell for Taco Bell sake, always hit or miss at any location to be expected busy, low staff, etc… things happen but this one in particular…… been like 5 times now and I think only once they got my order mostly right and edible or the way it ought to be, the five layers are not five layers they are bean burritos with a squirt of sour cream at the end, crunchwraps always taste like an old bbq pit grate and barely ever have the mystery meat filling I need for my hangover wafer thin and just shredded lettuce the tortilla is usually the equivalent to a rawhide, the potato’s are ALWAYS like leather haven’t gotten any from here that didn’t almost break a tooth, nachos are a pile of stale tortilla chips with a lump of avacado in the middle and nothing else really, I’ve been to some bad Taco Bell’s for a quick cheap fix but this one is at the top of the pile of crappy Taco Bell’s, Taco Bell’s are suppose to be wonderfully mid this one is beyond dookie and if it weren’t for my severe addiction to Taco Bell sauce I would find another one but this one’s around the corner and convenient so still be eating there but wanted to complain, anyway if you don’t like crunchwraps, five layer burritos, or potato’s or their nachos then this is probly a Taco Bell for you 1/10 do not recommend...

while this Taco Bell happens to be my favorite location in the valley and the only one I will go to, I will not hold back when it comes to exposing the lackluster customer service when I experience it. I am so sick and tired of watching this specific employee put the darn dustpan outside of the drive-thru window and making people wait for him to cheat lie and steal on the clock while we are spending our hard earned money supporting a business that we happen to give a crap about. I would like to think I may give more care about this place than this employee himself with the fact that he cannot be an honest worker, and he cannot accept the metrics for what they are without cheating to get ahead. I’ve included plenty of photos where you can see that he puts a dustpan in front of the customer that was in line before me which was for at least 10 seconds and then he did it again after me. I don’t know who thinks this is a good idea but last time I was here, I asked a female employee why they do that and she couldn’t give me an answer. I just think it’s a shame for this employee to encourage his team to do things like this when they can easily work hard like the rest of us and prosper just the same. what a disgrace to the community. Visited this Taco Bell location last night and the first thing we noticed was how dirty the kitchen looked....you can see it from the register while ordering....the stainless steel counter were they prepare the food had food left over like..cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and meat that looked dry already. There was also lots of food that drops when preparing their food on their kitchen Floor. We also noticed the dinning room floor was dirty and seemed like someone had been swiping but didnt finished and two piles of food and trashed was on the middle of the dinning room floor. We noticed several employees inside the cooking area just standing around talking and laughing but no one seemed to care about the filthy mess there was in the kitchen and dinning room. There was a female in there that appeared to be management but not even her seemed to care about this mess. Upon recei ing my order I did noti ed my food was cold but even like that I didnt complained but will be contacting management so this place can be managed properly or you guys will be loosing customers really soon.
