LFD Homefurnishings — Attraction in McAllen

Oh so rarely do I give 5 stars. I have 2 things I'm not a fan of that are my delivery which I prefer they be a little more careful with my new furniture. And the second chance financing offered through Acceptance Now. My issue with the Financing is technically apart from LFD itself. Let me say my Acceptance rep Angela, I believe, was great. It is the system itself which will crush you with interest if you are irresponsible (which technically wouldn't be their fault) OR if you pay the full term. You will PAY for that furniture. The math behind the amortization and the delivery of the information are murky and not because of the rep. Now that's out of the way.

Wow. We went over a few weeks span to Lacks Clearance (which I like), Martinez, Furniture Row, Ashley's, Ramirez Furniture and ended with LFD. I told my wife when we were across the street at Ramirez and it was hot outside and we still hadn't found the living room furniture that what if we go home and skip LFD and it's like a furniture wonderland? We laughed. So we went and we were blown away. First off we were greeted warmly in the Loft section which I thought was the extent of the store. Wrong. Second, our salesperson Yilian Perez was fantastic. She was helpful, knowledgeable, sweet and she entertained and conversed with our 3 yr old daughter. Within minutes my kid was calling her by name. The loft (basically clearance) section is incredibly stocked with beautiful furniture at excellent prices especially in the back. We went over to the showroom and it's like, well, a furniture wonderland. Is everything reasonably priced on that side in my opinion? No. You can pay $200 for a three foot fake tree. Are there great sales on sets and individual pieces? Yes. Many that rival or beat even online prices. Plus there's really attractive and different furniture unlike the boring and repetitive things in other stores. The displays are tactfully done. The store is comfortable and easy to navigate. Customer service for me was fabulous and I'm just a guy with a little family who made clear my budget and never felt less important in the process than if I went in with a briefcase of cash. If you have great credit or cash and you're not looking to go for super luxury goods like the $7,000 sofa, you will crush the hearts of all who come to your house for holiday or entertaining when they see your furniture. I hope you go and have the same experience I did. Ask for Yillian. Take your time. Get awesome furniture. These are the items we finally picked. So here's the thing. We bought our living room & dining set here a few years ago. They've been good quality & we still love them. However, yesterday we went back to look for another item for our home. I realize salespeople work on a commission, but I for one prefer to look around & then seek out assistance if I find something I like, instead of being led around the store. So it felt like we were rushed through the store by the salesperson, showing us the few items they had in stock, none of which met our needs. After that, we didn't really want to stick around & look any more. If we'd been able to go in & browse around at our own pace, even if we didn't find exactly what we were looking for, we might have come across something else we wanted to purchase, perhaps a lamp, buffet or sideboard, decor, etc. Point being, you could have missed out on a potential sale. So maybe consider giving people time to look around first before approaching them, or invite them to browse first, & just let them know you're there when...

Awesome Furniture Store Best Price here in South Texas. There Staff and Salesperson were very Professional. Went to Buy a Washer, and Dryer then said look I like That couch couldn’t no cause of the Price it was Priced at , Then looked at Mattresses couldn’t say no for the Price . Awesome Furniture Store. 06/13/25 LFD good prices on furniture and appliances, came to purchase a refrigerator, my salesperson David C very professional, very understandable. LFD makes you feel at home. And I am very blessed to have came and met Mr. David. May He continue his professionalism and wish for him to be the best salesperson in the appliances department.
