Nike Clearance Store - McAllen — Local services in McAllen

Had a great experience at the Nike clearance store. They had a wide variety of items, all sizes seemed to be in stock and as busy as they were, the employees seemed to take their time in meeting each customers needs. I want to give a special thank you to Mr. Rob who did something I don’t feel most people would have done. I bought 4 pair of basketball shorts. I “thought” I grabbed 2 XLs and 2 Larges but I accidentally grabbed a 4XL lol. So at the register Mr. Rob greeted me and let me know all sales are final and no returns. Asked me if I had a Nike account (I did) and logged in. While he was scanning the shorts, he was conscious enough to notice a mistake might’ve been made kind enough to ask, “did you mean to grab a 4x,” to which I replied, “absolutely not.” Lol I stepped out the line and grabbed the correct size and all was good. Some people might see that minimal but he could’ve just rung it up and due to the no return policy I would’ve been stuck with some 4XL shorts. Mostly good experiences at this store. Usually no complaints so this rating is strictly for this visit. I’ve been wanting some of the Sabrina Ionescu shoes. Well today I thought I lucked up when I saw a pair for $60. I grabbed them and tried them on. When I put them on I thought “hmmm, these feel weird”. I actually had the thought like “they feel broken in”. I take them off and look at them and sure enough they had been worn. Like you could actually see the white balls from someone’s socks inside the shoe on the heel and the bottom was dirty. My problem was that when I took them to the front to let the staff know she seemed to have an attitude about me bringing them to her and proceeded to tell me the policy about how they couldn’t have been worn because they don’t accept returns. CLEARLY! They were. Next time instead of telling me, a customer who was about to purchase worn shoes the policy, maybe offer a solution or look to see if you have another pair in...

Employees are little douchey. Most of them are on that vibe of “be rude to look cool.” But thats usually how retail workers are, hate their job and all that. Not all of them though, some were genuinely happy to help. Good selection of out of season/clearance product though. Needed some cheap shoes for work to not care about, that’s exactly what you can find here.

Don’t expect to find crazy finds.

People come in and buy in wild bulk (15-20 pairs) and will wipe out a whole selection in one size all throughout the day. If you have a shoe they want, dont put it away until you’re sure you don’t want it.

You’re crazy to think employees don’t get first pick. That’s just how the business works. Rankings always go by, Managers-Managers friends-Employees-Employees friends-Gen. Public
