Dream Dish — Restaurant in McDonough

Updated to four stars after pasta set awhile. It was better. I was missing some jalapeños. Hubby still raving about the hamburger so that was a winner indeed.

I wanted to give it five stars after all the great reviews I read. Hubby REALLY enjoyed the "Dream Burger" minus the onion ring (his preference). He said it was the best tasting burger he has had in a while and he is quite picky. I ordered the Taco pasta with beef. It was just "okay." It actually could have used a little more seasoning. The fries and chicken eggrolls were EXTREMELY greasy. Whew! I ate one of the eggrolls. The "dream" sauce reminded me of Zaxby's sauce and it was salty. No "WOW" factor as I expected. My hubby was a little underwhelmed with the sweet chili wings. I actually thought the wings were great. I was happy they mixed the 15 pc (Honey Gold/Sweet Chili) so we could sample both. The staff was very nice and friendly. I love their COVID protocols and clearly everyone has them down packed. The only disadvantage is having to take your food and eat it elsewhere before it gets cold and/or soggy because they don't do dine in. Plan accordingly. I would try it again because I am definitely curious about the other pastas. Also, my portion size was NOT like I had seen in some of the pictures. With it all slid to the side, it barely covered half the to go plate. Inflation is REAL!!! Always happy to support black...

Hidden Gem on the Southside of Atlanta.... trust me yall the trip is worth. I have indulge in a few items off the menu so let's go down the list of my favorite. First and foremost the Dream Shrimp Cheesesteak Combo is the bomb.com. Okay! I don't know if its because the chef just chopping it up, the Secret Dream sauce that set this classic sub off, or the combination of them both. But trust and believe it's in the top 5 on my list. Now, if we are talking burgers this place not only have a Mac N cheese burger to die for but the Surf N' Turf is given me a combination of land and sea at the tip of my hands. Again, that secert Dream Sauce they have is putting Kabby Patties to shame and we all know the "Krusty Crabs Crabby patties are the best Surfside" lol ok...ok it's a stretch but I ain't lying... I promise you. Let's get into their pasta dish.... pause for the cause yall.... a moment of silence. Ok. So guys, don't say I never told you but all their pasta dish can either be dressed of pasta, fries(yes I said it, your favorite pasta dishes has turn into loaded fries!), and you can also option out for a quesadilla!!! Mind blown, am I right. As for pasta, my favorites are the Salmon pasta with veggies and the Jerk chicken pasta, Yum. Ok, I'm rambling at this point but definitely check out this Black Own restaurant that has me raving like this....

My husband wanted to try this place & I was curious as well. We arrived and were greeted placed our order and everything was going well. A few minutes later a woman came in asking for the owner and she was very loud. As my family and I were waiting for our order, she came to our table and started to bend over across my husband. I thought she was mentally ill but she proceeded to tell us she had been drinking. She kept trying to give my son a soda who is 1 year old and we don't let him drink soda. I remained calm but we were all uncomfortable with her presence. However because she knows the owner, no one asked her to leave. The lady also appeared to be confrontational because even when I got up and tried to ignore her she kept coming into my personal space.

With all that being said if the food was good, I probably wouldn’t have left a negative review but it wasn’t. It was basic nothing wowing. The fries appeared to have been refried or cooked in old oil. The pasta sauce tasted bland and the chicken on the pasta tasted like leftovers. My husband said his salmon pasta was better than mine and the wings were probably the only thing that was seasoned well. My husband didn’t agree with the portions of the food given the cost.
