Our 2.5 year old had a blast at the Frisco location so we thought we’d try this location as it is closer to us..
Originally the employees at the front were super friendly, however, after there was an issue they were not. Our son had been jumping for a good 30m alongside his dad & I was sitting next to him as I am currently pregnant & could not jump with him. A new employee showed up in the littles area & walked over to tell us that we either need to buy a band & socks or sit on the benches. First off, we should’ve been told that at the front & second off I’m not even jumping & you’ve had an employee watching us & never said anything in the beginning & he also wasn’t getting onto older kids coming into the little kid area. The new employee apologized & said it was their fault they didn’t tell us at the front. Our son started crying because we couldn’t be with him anymore & the employee couldn’t care less. This could’ve been avoided if the employee at the front had told us we needed at least one parent wristband & socks OR if the first employee let us know. I went down to purchase a band & socks for my husband. I mentioned to the employee that it would’ve been nice if they would ask if either parent will be jumping alongside their child, especially when they are so young & do not have any siblings with them & that we didn’t have this issue at Frisco as our son was so young. Her exact response with attitude was, “we don’t just assume someone is going to jump with their child”. Not once did she show respectful customer service. A simple apology goes a long way. She then proceeded to tell me I had to go & get my husband to come to the front to get his wristband & socks. Thank you for inconveniencing us yet again.
If you want to enforce “rules”, then they should be enforced for everyone. We saw multiple moms without wristbands & socks jumping alongside their children around the same age as our son. Also, employees should enforce the age of kiddos who can be on certain areas. The slide area wasn’t even being enforced as far as height limits. A kid who was too tall for the area was knocking younger kids over including our son. We also overheard 2 employees chatting about how babysitting pays more than this job so we should just quit & start babysitting. Super professional.
We do not plan on returning to this...
Read moreWe had a birthday party here and loved it. There were more things to do here than the last Urban Air I've been to. Our party host was awesome. She was very nice and helpful. She did a great job! Her name tag sad Bizzy. I'd request her to be our host again if we had another party reserved there.
The only downside about everything was the food situation was weird. Thats the only reason Im giving it a 4 star. Id give a 4.5 if possible. The food reservation for parties was weird. We had to order our pizzas the Thursday before the party (which was on a Sunday). We weren't allowed to order pizzas the day of in case we needed more. They said full pizza orders aren't allowed but we could order by the slice. That really sucked because we were having to figure out how many pizzas we would need without knowing for sure how many people would be there. So we ordered 6 and hoped nobody showed up that didnt RSVP because we couldn't order more food. We were worried about the pizzas being thin and not being filling since we couldnt find anything on their website with food pictures. We were absolutely wrong. These pizzas were loaded with cheese. Looked like the pizzas in commercials with tons of melted cheese. Not even kidding or exaggerating. The pizza was really really good. The pitchers of soda were expensive in my opinion BUT free refills. We definitely utilized that so I think we got our money's worth.
The place was a madhouse but thats expected with a ton of kids on the weekend in one place haha. One worker looked like he was overwhelmed with having to watch multiple areas and kids not following the rules. He was going back and forth trying to tell kids stop doing this or that. Poor guy. Would definitely tell your kids what not to do because a lot of the older kids were being rude, had no manners, didnt follow any rules. It made it choatic and im sure the workers would like having the kids following the rules. They had a super cool zipline thing. Totally worth the more expensive ticket.
Overall place was super fun. It was just the party stuff was a bit weird with food reservations and some things kept being answered with "well that depends.." Overall went smooth once we showed up and everyone...
Read moreTook my daughter here today. Bought tickets online. Still had to wait in line so buying online does nothing. Was greeted by the front desk employees with nice big frowns and didn't even say anything until I told them I bought tickets online. Should've known it was going to be bad after that. You'd think at a place literally made for kids, they'd hire staff who are ok with them. The positive thing is the space is pretty cool. The bad thing is you can barely use it cause there's preteens running full sprint and knocking the smaller kids over. The staff sees this and either ignores it or laughs at them. Bought the "ultimate" package for my 5 year old only to show up and find out most of the things she couldn't do cause of height limit. My fault for not checking that. There was two she could do, rock climbing and bumper cars, which she was excited about. Turns out bumper calls were closed for some reason. I asked the front desk about it and she said that they worked fine so she didn't know why it was off. I asked if she'd go check and she said yes and then proceeded to simply go to the next customer. Icing on the cake then happened when we finally got into the rock climbing area. The employee working there was extremely rude and seemed like doing his job and helping the kids was such a burden on him. While getting my daughter strapped in he was yelling at the other employees asking what time it was and asking them if they'd switch with him. He only allowed 3 kids in at a time which I guess is a rule. After letting them in, he'd then completely ignore them while either staring into space or again begging other employees to switch with him. My daughter climbed 3 things in 30 min and the only reason it was 3 was because every time I had to go yell at the guy. Last but not least, spent 20 bucks on games only to find all the claw machines were not stocked. Horrible experience and don't recommend this place to anyone. To the manager, maybe hire people who want to...
