This place is an absolute gem! My friends and I had the most incredible time at Painting with a Twist in McKinney. From the moment we walked in, the energy was fantastic. The studio is so clean, bright, and perfectly set up for a fun night out. Our instructor, Eboni was an absolute star – she was not only incredibly talented but also so patient, encouraging, and hilarious. She broke down the painting step-by-step, making it easy for even the most artistically challenged among us to create a masterpiece we were genuinely proud of. The music was great, the atmosphere was lively, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We laughed, we painted, and we left with not just a beautiful piece of art, but also amazing memories. Whether you're looking for a date night, a girls' night out, or a solo creative adventure, this is the place to be. We're already planning our next visit! Five stars...

Suuuuper fun and exciting experience even while sober! My fiancée and I decided to try our hand at this date night idea and are so glad we did. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and our mediocre representations of the studio artist’s brilliant riverside mountain retreat. His Royal “Dudeness” Cody was a real delight, and has a knack for keeping the mood light and inspiring with quirky dad-jokes and witty banter to challenge your mind and art technique. Highly recommend you try this whether you’re a pure novice like me and my sweetie or you’re a seasoned expert who may need a refreshing break and find inspiration among fellow art lovers in this quaint studio. I have been coming to this painting with a twist location in McKinney for roughly 10 years, and I love it! Don’t let the paintings scare you it’s worth the temporary anxiety. The teachers are amazing. I have mainly worked with Cody over the years (also known as the dude) the step-by-step instruction makes this an easy girls night, birthday party, corporate event/fundraisers or just a night friends and family…. All of which I have done. They even have kid camps (spring break and summer) as well. If you take the time to visit this location you will not be sorry.
