This place is the glue that holds Medina, Ohio's Public Square together. Actually, it's pretty strong glue, since there are several shops, restaurants and bars on the Square that make up a really dynamic district just a half an hour south of Cleveland. Really, it's a throwback district and is a shining example of a small, self-sufficient town on it's own that became an exurb of two larger cities nearby. My trip to the Square was tied together by a production of As You Like It by Medina's Shakespeare on the Square. Read moreThe Medina square/park/gazebo is a lovely place to visit. Nearly every weekend there is something happening. Farmers markets in the mornings, art fairs and such are held fairly regularly, Shakespeare and musical stuff towards the afternoon evening.
Grab a bite to eat, maybe a snack or some ice cream from the local shops and relax on the benches during the sunny days. The gazebo is a popular spot for prom/homecoming/wedding photos. Kids love playing...
