A small community park with a walking path, playground, ball court and field, and restrooms. Be aware that the parking lot nearest the playground has no car accessible connection to the ball field parking lot so plan your entrance accordingly. Of special mention is the double playground slide which was slightly more steep than I would have expected. Not unsafe mind, but the children certainly appreciated the slide's speed.

The dog park has signs and still isn’t open, I have been bringing my dogs there all month to play and each time it still isn’t open. Update 3 months later: Dog park still isn’t open. Said it would open this past summer and it’s pretty much fall time and it’s still closed.

Ray Mallett Park is a nice baseball field. Two fields with lights for late games. Bleachers on first and third base sides for both fields. Covered dugouts for both teams. Fields are okay, not the best. Downside....Bathroom is a port a potty!

I was disappointed when I heard the city pool would be too costly to reopen, after just refinished 2 years prior of 2008, I believe, but now my children are moved out, and oldest daughter had my Grandson who just turned 2years old. I am so at awh with this splash park, less chance of drowning where in pool so many kids, even with holding child in your arms or hand can get easily hurt from all the kids crowded in pool. It has everything a young child needs to have fun and (YES,I ADMIT THIS GRANDMOTHER HAD TO GET IN THE ACTION MYSELF), it was awesome. I thought it was gonna be a lame city attempt to save money over the choice of children and all ages, like this grandmom, to have something to keep them having fun and staying out of trouble. THANK YOU MEDINA, FOR STILL THINKING OF OUR CHILDREN,TEENS HAVING FUN. ...

This dog park was so nice but we had to leave early because random kids without parents were coming into the fenced in dog area to try to play with the dogs? Someone who didn’t have a dog brought their toddler into the fenced in dog area? They even had good! My dog isn’t aggressive but he gets scared around kids running around. I wouldn’t want to put him in a situation where he could hurt someone’s child? There needs to be clear rules posted. No children under a certain age. Over a certain age should be accompanied by an adult. And nobody should bring in food. Please watch your kids, people taking their dog to the fenced in dog park aren’t expecting unsupervised kids to be running...

The dog parks never really seem to be open. The water park when it is open has water that seems to give you a rash. I know it does for me and a few others and it might just be because of what they used to clean the water. It has a playground which is pretty nice. And there's some smooth ground on the trail in some areas that make for place to roll a stroller or skateboard. But the other half of it is pretty rough. It also has a little outdoor gym area. Overall it has some nice things but it could...
