I first heard of Riztech on Facebook about a year ago. I liked their page, knowing they were local and wanted to learn more. As time went on, I saw posts about their products and services. When my computer became problematic, I began to search for a new one, though I did not know what to look for in a good computer. I reached out to Riztech on Facebook Messenger for advice on Mac products and they went above and beyond to answer my questions and respond to my concerns. Over my Christmas Break, I finally got to go in and see the store in person, and I came home with a 2017 MacBook Air! After many years of low grade HP computers, this MacBook is amazing. I felt confident purchasing a more expensive computer after an explanation of which computer did what and how the RAM/memory size affects the functions of the computer. I was initially choosing between a MacBook Pro and a MacBook Air, mostly concerned with the price difference. Riz was helpful and let me know that an Air would work really well for school and future jobs as I want to teach and will not necessarily need to have a Pro as I will not need photoshop or hi-res screen. My father was very happy as Riz took my concerns into consideration and sold based on those. I am VERY satisfied with my MacBook purchase as well as the hard drive removals from older computers. I also had a battery replacement done on my grandmother's iPhone for a great price and it has been excellent, too. I highly recommend this honest and authentic family business to others! Read moreKind of bummed with my first experience. They have items listed on Facebook too. When asked through Facebook if they would take the specs of a pc I'm looking for to see if they had anything in stock that would fit that requirement...without having to drive myself 2.5 hours there and 2.5 back from Detroit to find out if they did or didn't...the singular response I received was "everything is listed." I sought out your store to spend my hard earned money. I was simply looking for a way to avoid 5 hours of driving for nothing. Since your inventory also isn't listed on your website you have probably lost a customer that interested in spending $300-$1000 on a pc and maybe some other things if they were available....I was never allowed to ask what I was looking for. That's a bummer. (Side note. The listing's on Facebook also include every sold item as well. So instead of simply helping me, I was expected to wade through hundreds and hundreds...and hundreds of Facebook listing's, trying to figure out if the listing was was marked sold or active, a laptop or desktop, had the specs I needed).....it just seems like someone inside of the store, in-front of the inventory would have a much cleaner, faster, easier time. I'll save my gas and money and time and go elsewhere. Which really sucks cause I was really looking forward to finding a reason to make the...
Read moreI had previously gone to the Apple store before Christmas to have them look at my iPhone6 plus, that had suddenly stopped working. Apple had a program running that replaced iPhone 6 batteries due to a defect. After waiting in line (even though I had an appt.) for 30 minutes and after 20 minutes of running diagnostics, the apple tech said that the battery was fine and it was the charging port that needed to be replaced. That being said, he then told me I would be better off getting a new phone. Which I was not willing to do. Fast forward to today, on a whim I went into RizTech to see if they were able to help me. After being greeted by the owners, I was given an honest and fair quote for a charging port. I left my phone there and less than an hour later, I received a phone call from Austin who let me know that it actually wasn't the charging port after all.....I just needed a new battery!! He replaced the battery, I was charged a fair price, and the battery is under warranty for 6 months. This is the 2nd time, RizTech has helped my family with our Apple electronics. We highly recommend their friendly, fair and honest service that you definitely don't get from a big box store. Also, it doesn't hurt that they have an adorable labradoodle that helps greet customers as...
