Read moreWe want to thank the many volunteers we met as we entered the property of Green Gables over looking a spectacular view of Indian River. We were guided by Ann, dressed in the period of time, who provided an excellent tour of the interior of the home and the history of the Wells Family! My husband and I learned about the door tax and imagined what life was back then, through the stories that were shared. The community of Melbourne should be PROUD the home is being preserved as a historical landmark! A visit that all should experience! We look forward in returning as Green Gables is restored back to its grandeur!...

Thank you so much for making our day wonderful! The fifty and...
