Game X Change — Attraction in Memphis

This is probably my favorite location out of all the Game X Change stores in the Memphis area. It's always clean, well maintained, stock on the shelf is rarely out of order, a great selection of model kits, anime statues/figures, and the games (both modern and retro) have a good variety (ie; not just a bunch of sports games for retro systems) at reasonable prices given the way the retro market has been the just few years.

I was just in there a week ago and got some great deals on some retro games that weren't even the type they'd secure in the glass cabinet for higher priced/premium items, and I even lucked out on finding an HG Bandai model kit for a Macross Plus YF-19 for $50 which was worth the trip alone.

The other stores in the area aren't bad but if I'm going to go to just one Game X Change is always gonna be the one on Union, I rarely walk out empty handed and never...

I’ve got in this shop multiple times and have found al types of fun toys and picked up a console or two. When it comes to selection of items I believe his is their strong suite. Where they lack is customer service. Outside if two particular employees the rest seem like everything you ask them for something it is a chore. Not to mention your time at the check out counter varies depending on the number of customers and how slow the people behind the counter wants to move. I also had a larger order and tried to exchange a product for another that was equal value. The item it tried to return was an unopened box of toys. I usually love this place but this time around it was absolutely awful two ladies running the store today and they were just terrible pretty rude and acted like everything was an inconvenience very loud and kept playing the whole time instead of doing there job fr.. we had picked up a game that on the sticker said $6 and then our cashier Tamea failed to mention that it was $40 which I felt she should have given a heads up we bought other things so my boyfriend didn’t realize that game was the reason it was so much also she was talking very low so he don’t really hear the price and obviously we can’t get a cash refund bc that isn’t allowed so we had to get store credit and we don’t really want to buy anything else from there so it’s a huge...
