My partner and I just left the IHOP on union. The waitress came and asked us for our drink order. We ordered 2 glasses of water , sweet tea and a coffee. Almost 10 minutes later she comes back asking what would we like to order and she hasn’t even brought us our drinks yet. We give our order and she goes to another table and takes their drink order. Another 10 minutes or so she finally brings out our drinks along with another table who ordered way after we did. That was all just for the drinks.
We ordered food, I ordered the Colorado omelette with sauasage links and the Mexican tres leche pancakes. We sit there for what is a extended period of time waiting. She finally brought the table the ordered after we ordered their food, then came to us and said our food will be out in a minute. She finally brings our food and the pancakes are wrong. So she takes them back. Instead of coming back and letting us know that they were out of some of the ingredients she brings me a stack of soggy pancakes covered in that vanilla sauce dripping off the plate and whip cream falling all off side. It looked a horrible mess. She said that they are out of the caramel sauce and asked if I would like some strawberries to go on top in place if it. I said yes please. She left, 15 minutes later she’s going to her other tables talking to them taking her time then she finally comes back to our table and asks if everything’s ok. We said we were still waiting on the strawberries and asked for another glass of tea. And she repeated “strawberries and tea” then walked off. We sat there at the table for another 20 minutes or so and SHE NEVER CAME BACK!!! We saw nothing else from her. So we just got up and stood at the cash register and a guy checked us out.

Read moreFirst, I would like to say that my family loves IHOP pancakes, so much that our family has ordered breakfast every Saturday for the last year. To stay safe, we have reverted to ordering online. Sad to say that our last three orders have not gone so well (same problems, different locations). Today we ordered our regulars at 8:26 AM online for pick-up from the location 2060 Union Ave, Memphis, TN 38104 which is not our regular/ closest location to our house. We usually order our breakfast from the Riverdale location in Memphis but chose this location hoping for better service. By the way it was 7 miles (20 minutes away from our house):/ The last two times our orders were not ready when they said it was on the app. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist/ host was very nonchalant/ not interested at all about my order which was NOT READY. She had a NASTY attitude when I asked about when the order would be ready after 15 minutes of waiting past the time that the app said that it was ready. The app stated that our order was ready at 8:42 AM. It was 9:00 AM by the time that I asked for help. I tried to cancel the order in the app but it was too late to cancel because the employees had already CLAIMED that it was ready. I DID NOT want anything from IHOP at this point and asked to speak to a manager so that I could get a REFUND. Can you believe that the MANAGER NEVER CAME TO THE FRONT! Wow, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Someone finally came out with my food that I didn't even want at this point. I just wanted my money BACK. We will NEVER EAT AT IHOP AGAIN!!!!! Read moreI visited on July 18th and this was a frustrating visit. I made a purchase and the menu states that you get double pancoins when you order any minion meal off the menu but I did not receive double pancoins. I feel this is false advertisement. This visit was very frustrating because we had issues when we were seated. The lady was outside smoking at first and came in and preceded to take our drink order. She wreaked of cigarette smoke and I had to request that she wash her hands. She washed them so fast my son and I were not comfortable with her so we requested to be moved somewhere else, to another server. It took a long time to place our order. Then, the server brought our food without bringing me my minion pancakes. We were really frustrated and attempted to leave several times but ended up staying. This visit was not a good visit. No one really knew how to do the pancoins. The lady kept saying I had to do it on the app so I asked for the second time to speak to the manager. This visit took longer than it should have. They are also false advertising in the menu. They show a picture of food in the menu and that is not what you receive when your food arrives. They have a picture of 2 crepes but does not tell you if you get the $10 combo, you only get one crepe. The combo is definitely not worth the price for only one crepe. These restaurants are ripping people off and we really need to stop supporting them until they become more affordable and get what we pay for. Including excellent customer service. Employees need to be trained better about the pancoins and waiting tables in general. Provide silverware, condiments, napkins prior to meal coming out. Check on guests often and make sure they get their check and pay in a timely manner. Minion pancakes were ok. But does not look like the commercial and pictures in the menu....
