*IN RESPONSE TO THE RESTAURANT REPLY BELOW You have entirely missed the point of the review. I received my food 35 minutes AFTER the pickup time, which was already listed as 45 minutes- so a total wait time of 80 MINUTES for a take out order. That is unacceptable. I did my best to kill time, went next door to the Kwik Chek for a bit, etc. I did not make ONE comment to the waitress regarding the lengthy wait time until she handed me my food. I asked what had happened, had my order been misplaced? THAT is when she made her snarky comment. I had every right to voice my displeasure for such poor service and attitude, and deserved an explanation. I am SURE you have cameras in your establishment and can view what actually happened. In regards to the police - I saw them out there and mistakenly thought I was getting a ticket. I told the waitress I was going out to move my car, and she stated yeah you'll get a ticket if you park on that side of the street. I found out when I went to move my car that I was actually not parked incorrectly, so I came back in and continued to wait. In regards to the tip - that is my mistake. When you place the order and it's submitted, clover states a gratuity is automatically added - but this wasn't noted until after I had added a tip also - luckily the system caught that. ----》The fact that you feel the need to attack me for my honest review speaks volumes to your character as a business owner. Just read your other reviews regarding the wait and other issues. Take this as an opportunity to improve and grow as a business, to serve your customers better.
I've been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years, always getting takeout, even though the service has declined rapidly. Today was the last straw, and I will not be back. I ordered my food well in advance, knowing it would take 45 min. When I showed up, it was obvious when the waitress was looking for my ticket that it hadn't even been started. Still, I waited. Even had to go move my car to not get a ticket. No explanation, nothing. 35 minutes after my pickup time she brings me my food. I asked her if my order had been misplaced, and she very snarkily replied, "we're just busy." I said no explanation, not even an apology? Again, she stated, "we're busy," and threw in a very loud sarcastic "HAVE A NICE DAY."
TO THE OWNERS: This occurred 6/28 around 1220 - 1250pm. The server name on the receipt was Sue R, Long brownish hair in a ponytail. With people working for you like that, treating your customers poorly, eventually, the word gets around not to patronize your establishment. Your business will decline to the point that it hurts your bottom line. Your waitress needs counseling and a primer in customer service, or she needs to seek employment elsewhere. And the icing on the cake? I tipped her 30% to treat me this badly, once when I ordered online, and once when they added the surcharge!! What a...
Read moreI ordered the fried mandus, handmade vegetable dumplings and the vegetable ramen with no tofu and no bean sprouts. The menu specifically reads vegetable dumplings. I bit into the dumplings and a white substance was all through out the dumpling. I assumed it was cauliflower because the menu reads vegetable dumplings. The texture was weird, so I asked the server what exactly was in the dumplings to be sure. He says tofu. I responded ok, I don't eat tofu. The menu does not say that there is tofu in these dumplings. The menu says vegetable dumplings, tofu isn't a vegetable. The server very kindly asked me if I wanted to send them back. I said yes. He went to go speak to another lady, I could hear her in a raised voice going back and forth with the server, ultimately telling him that I could not send the dumplings back. The server came back and very apologetically explained that I couldn't send the dumplings back. I assured him that there was no need to apologize. It wasn't his fault. I said the lady is very loud, I heard her telling you that I couldn't send them back. I stated, but I do want you to understand that the menu says vegetable dumplings. It doesn't say tofu and vegetable dumplings. I have the seven dollars, I can pay for the dumplings, but this is incorrect information and false advertising. I said, this isn't my opinion, this isn't what I think, or believe, it is a factual statement that the menu says vegetable dumplings and these are in fact tofu dumplings. I stated that I would be leaving a review and not returning to the restaurant. I paid, tipped the server well and left. I do not recommend dining here because the menu is not an accurate depiction of what is actually in the dishes and they do not take accountability for the false information on...
Read moreThe food was pretty good. Unfortunately, it was not nearly good enough to warrant over an hour's wait time. I see now that most other reviewers have mentioned the long wait times, so I guess it's the norm there. I also see the restaurant responding to these reviews, defending themselves because the food is "made to order." Not everyone is willing to spend two hours of their life sitting at a restaurant for ramen, even if it is made to order. It's ramen. Perhaps it should be communicated to customers upon arrival that they should expect to wait over an hour for their food. Then they can make the decision to stay or leave based on whether they are in a rush or super hungry. If people were warned how long it would take they wouldn't be so upset. Nobody goes out for ramen expecting to spend two hours there. I certainly wouldn't have, had I known how long it would take. Also, the service was poor in general, even aside from the food taking so long. As others have said, expect to wait over twenty minutes before anyone even comes for your drink order. Slow to refill drinks and to take check. Overall quite a bad experience. Like I said, the food was decent, but nothing mind-blowing. If you really wish to try it, just plan on spending a good couple hours there between the slow service and the food taking ridiculously...
