Maggie's Pharm — Attraction in Memphis

I hadn’t been here in 5 years or so, but when I went there today with my mother they were as rude as could be. One woman behind the counter with long dark hair kept pushing past me without saying a word & as soon as I was ready to buy my aloe & comfrey lotion, I set it on the counter and I was just looked at like I was bothering her & another lady. No greeting or anything. Then when they were done processing my transaction, they said nothing again. I just took my bag off the counter & left. Worst shopping experience ever. Go there if you want to be treated...

I have been a loyal customer of Maggie's Pharm since about 1990. I maintain a solid supply of essential oils in my home at all time and I only buy them from Maggie's. No matter where I live (I've moved from Memphis to Missouri, to Mississippi, to Alabama) I always make a trip to Memphis when my supply is running low. Sure there are tons of other places to purchase these oils, but I trust the folks at Maggie's and I completely trust their products. Plus, going to that shop in person is a real treat. Unbelievably huge selection of herbs, spices, incense, tinctures, soaps, oils, etc., for holistic healing, cooking, aromatherapy, or just self-pampering. You can buy off the shelf, or you can get help making your own concoctions. Funky gifts, cards, bags, clothes, jewelry, and more all fit inside this tiny shop that is actually a converted old house, so it's very cozy. The ladies are wonderful and very knowledgeable, whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular. I'll definitely visit again the next time...
