Sweet Noshings — Restaurant in Memphis

So incredibly unhappy right now. Terrible service. Workers could have cared less that I was unhappy. I came in today with my son for ice cream and a stuffed animal. We picked the toy and I went over to the ice cream I tried 2 flavors from the case near me. I was waiting for a crowd to finish from the other ice cream case so I could see what flavor I may want from that side. When I told the this to the girl working she informed me I’m only allowed to sample 2 flavors. First of all that is ridiculous how am I supposed to know if I like the flavors you offer. When I asked the worker how am I supposed to know if I’ll like it she litter ignored my question. This is a shocking way to treat someone wanting to buy things from your store. We checked out with a different worker and purchased the stuffed animal, I expressed to her that honestly I’m upset with this policy and not being informed before I sampled any. And the girl checking me out was even worse literally rolled her eyes and said “mmhmm” not a sorry or a care from any of them. We...

So first night in Memphis out for dinner stumbled across this candy store being a family of 12 with a sweet tooth we were excited to say the least we going get candy order popcorn and are at the register all rang up and money out to pay 2 Caucasian guys walk up and the cashier totally ignores they fact that my husband has the money in his hands reaching it out to her she continues to fix popcorn fir the gentleman until my aunt says excuse we are trying to pay for our order not in a rude way the cashier then snatched the money out of my husband's hand and my cousin said you didn't have to snatch it she replied I didn't I replied yes you did then the cashier replies I didn't me to snatch it I then told her she could keep everything we had order roughly $85.00. I work hard for my money as a Frontline worker and regardless of color or belief I would never be rude to someone customer service of any color or creed should be equal as a company diversity training is needed if this is not what the owners stand for...

Sweet Noshings is a fun little candy/ice cream shop in the Overton Square area of Memphis. They have all kinds of gourmet candy and chocolate much of which you bag yourself and pay for by the pound. Their ice cream selection isn't Baskin Robbins, but they will have something you like. I would guess that they 12-16 different ice cream flavors available. They will also make milk shakes, sundaes, etc. I had a chocolate milk shake when I was there a few days ago. It was very good. They also serve ice cream cones with both cake cones and waffle cones. They also have a selection of coffees available if like that sort of thing. It's not Starbucks, but they have enough of a selection, that you'll be able to find something you like. They have some seating available if you want to sit and enjoy your treats. My family and I have been there several times and we've never had a bad experience.
