We had a very sentimental piece of art we needed framed and it was our first time getting any custom framing done. We called Mom and Pop’s Frame Shop and from the very first call we were treated warmly. We were excited to go in and see what they could do with our special piece. After a nice chat with Doug and John we began browsing our options. They were very accommodating and offered creative ideas that we hadn’t considered. We decided to go with a double frame, subtle matting, and museum glass - worth the extra expense because it limits the reflection considerably. Our piece was done ahead of schedule and we were just stunned when we saw it framed! There was a small change we needed because something found its way under the glass, but when we pointed it out, the way it was handled was beyond professional and caring. You can tell they really want things to be perfect, and for their customers to be completely satisfied. That is important to mention because things can occasionally happen and how a business solves an issue is the truest reflection of its customer service. We ended up with a beautiful frame, sooner than the expected date, and couldn’t be happier with both the outcome and the service we received. Thank you to Doug and John and we’ll see you again when we need...
Read moreI bought my son a band signed, limited edition social distortion print for Christmas. It took longer than expected to receive so it left me trying to find a frame last minute. I searched google and came across mom & pop frame shop. Called the owner, and by some Christmas miracle, said he could do it for me. It was about 2pm with the shop closing at 5. Suffice to say, I brought print down and within a few hours was called back telling me it was done. I was blown away at the job he did in so little time. I could've bought a generic frame somewhere, but he took an already cool looking print and turned it into a piece of art. And it wasn't just for me, because upon looking around the shop, he had done some amazing work that I'm sure will blow the socks of the customers who brought their pieces in to be framed.. I can't tell you how much I appreciated him doing this last minute frame and matting for me. The owner is a top notch gentleman with a nice since of humor who will make sure your piece...

I entrusted this shop with an original, expensive French fine art painting, and they ruined it. When I collected it, I immediately noticed a dent on the canvas — likely due to the completely unprofessional way they handle artwork. Many of their already-framed pieces were literally lying on the floor, so it’s no surprise mine was damaged.
When I pointed out the damage, the staff said nothing — just ignored me. That alone spoke volumes. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.
To make matters worse, they sealed the back of the frame with a black sheet, which should never be done with fine art on canvas. This clearly showed a lack of understanding and care. We had to remove it ourselves at home.
Despite the high price we paid, the frame had a cheap printed label on the back — the kind you’d find on mass-produced frames from low-cost sites.
If your art is valuable, do not bring it here. Total disregard for both the piece and...
