I would like to thank Techloop Electronics Menlo Park for repairing my phone not once, but twice, and for carefully restoring YEARS of photos and recordings of loved ones who have passed away and my Beloved One’s birth and first few months of life.
I had a really old iPhone 7 that was not backed up to iCloud nor to any other device, and then the entire screen got shattered to the point where all you could see was a mostly black screen with a few colored vertical lines. Letif replaced the entire screen in under 30 minutes and got the phone up and working again, for $90.
About two weeks later, the same phone, which I still had not backed up, got run over by a vehicle weighing over 6,000 lbs and the back was dented and it (obviously) would not turn on or anything. Hector was by some miracle able to salvage the memory board and restore the phone with ALL PHOTOS, RECORDINGS, etc INTACT, in less than 7 days, for $250. Letif also showed me two different ways to back up my data and offered to do it for free. He did return my phone with an incorrect SIM card, but found my correct SIM card within a day and fixed that issue.
Some other notes about my experience with Techloop Electronics: The staff were pleasant and professional and the store was clean and comfortable inside. The store also had convenient hours and was easy to find. I recommend this place to anyone in need of electronic repairs or refurbished devices. Thank you again Techloop...
Read moreDo not go to this store the staff try and take money from you and the quality is not good. I went 3 times and the first time I get my phone repaired for 90 bucks. the second time I went there I go to fix the screen and battery and the employee tells me it’ll be 100 for the screen and 60 dollars for the battery when it was fixed my home button was Crooked the screen worked but after a while half the screen (left side to be exact) would looked messed up and the battery started automatically shutting off the phone even though they were supposed to fix it and put a brand new battery in... my last time they tried to raise the price of fixing the screen to 115 and they said they could fix it and then I mention my battery and how they didn’t fix it. the employee says he couldn’t fix it because there was no warranty for battery’s (understandable I guess) he then tells me the battery would be 80 dollars but he could give me a discount of 69 dollars to fix it i say no thank you and then he starts to lie to me and tell me he can’t fix my screen unless I fix the battery because where the battery is laid out on my phone it was pushing the screen up I tell him no thanks I’ll go somewhere else and I go to Chinatown where I got my screen fixed with better quality of service and a better screen...
Read moreWow! Speechless! I brought my PC to Techloop in Menlo Park to swap out the PSU and GPU, and for cleaning.
Letif really brought my PC back to life.
I was long overdue for an upgrade & cleaning and he did just that. The PC looks basically brand new. Every single inch was cleaned and I couldn't be more pleased. He touched up my keyboard for free and really gave it a face lift. Overall, price was very fair.
The installation of the new components was flawless and he provided me a lot of useful information for my next set of upgrades.
Aside from the 10/10 product, the customer service was fantastic. He was friendly and informative, but not pushy and answered any questions I had along the way.
I will 100% be returning for any tech related needs in the future, as well as recommending him to my network. Good stores are hard to find these days and this is a small business we are lucky to have...
