This is way more than just a beautiful collection of cat art, figurines and everything else you can possibly imagine. What was especially touching, was hearing how each and every item had a story. It resonated with me personally after recently losing my mother who had a 50 year collection of her own. I couldn't bear to drop it at thrift store where I know items could get broken or damaged knowing how much she treasured them. Instead, we loaded up 20 large totes and trekked them with us 2000 miles when we moved this summer just to ensure I have the time to ensure they end up somewhere they will be treasured. Read moreMy best friend and I went to the museum today and had the most wonderful experience. When we first arrived we were led out to the catio and had the opportunity to pet and play with several kitties. They were all very friendly and soft! It was amazing. Afterwards, we started the tour inside and we were blown away by variety of cat figurines. It was absolutely exquisite and we were given a detailed background on many of the pieces which I found quite enjoyable. The owners were so open, friendly, and knowledgeable. They are great people doing something wonderful for the cat community. Highly recommend checking it out and don’t forget to grab one of their super cute shirts!! Thanks...
Read moreMy spouse and I took a day trip to Menomonee Falls and decided to check out the Cat Mewseum. We were not disappointed—what a hidden gem. The owner (Sphere) is such a vibrant, passionate soul. It’s clear how much heart has gone into this place: taking in people’s cherished cat collections, building a sanctuary for beloved felines, and giving back to the local animal community. It’s all incredibly sweet.
If you’re a cat lover, I honestly don’t see how you could leave disappointed. There are several lovely resident cats, a fantastic outdoor catio, and of course, the museum itself—packed with feline history and charm.
Support this place if you can. It’s a labor of love,...
