Menomonie Farmers Market — Attraction in Menomonie

We visit the Farmer's Market every time we visit family here. The pavillion itself is a unique timber construction you've got to see. Great atmosphere, even if you aren't interested in buying anything. It is worth just walking through to see all the beautiful produce and flowers. Produce varies from spring to summer, depending on what is in season. The produce from any of the venders is fresh and amazing. There are other artisan crafts and foods. Fresh breads, pies, pastries, cookies, smoked salmon, grass fed beef and other meats. Note that some venders are only there on certain days. For example the brick oven pizza guy was only there part of the day on Wednesday. The fresh egg rolls are in the park opposite the farmers market. They are super popular, too. You bet. What really helps this market stand out though is the hot food options available. If you're looking for the best bahn mi sandwich this side of the twin cities, you'll find it here. Fresh veggies, hot food, local meat, goods crafts and services. There's a bandshell directly next to it so sometimes there's live music. Beautiful park and it's a block away from the Menomonie market food coop which also has a deli and produce and kombucha and such. There's sometimes a hot food stand that sells bahn mis. These are my absolute favorite highly recommend them and they have a vegetarian option. Sometimes there's a person there who sharpens knives. Asparagus is in season right now.
