Barbershop — Attraction in Miami Beach

A great local experience. The barbershop bustles with great cuban energy, with a good range of young and middle aged barbers, adding value to the choice of barbers and styles you might be looking for. I went in for a beard trim only, as I was traveling and did not pack a trimmer. After seen the quality of haircuts, shaves, and attention to detail to every service, I went for a haircut, as I could use one at the time. Chairs were full all the time and plenty of barbers to make a shorter wait. I'm a middle aged individual and I ended up with a middle aged barber, which helped with the likes a same aged person would only know. Nelson is his name, and his craft is worth of admiration. His skills with the trimmer, scissors, hair brush, dryer and blade are impeccable, and the careful, meticulous, and honest concern for what I was looking, were memorable. At one point, an individual showed up with a "colada" for the barbers ( A 3–6 shots of Cuban-style espresso served in a Styrofoam cup along with small, plastic demitasses. This is customary of workplace breaks in Cuban communities and meant to be drunk as one shot) and Nelson offered me a shot, such a caring and considerate gesture on his part. I had my share of fades and military style haircuts, after serving in the military for more than 20 years, and I can say that the fades I saw being produced here were among the cleanest and perfectly cut in my entire life. Not very friendly. I went in and sat for 30 minutes. Not one word was said to me. Furthermore, there did not seem to be any order as to who got their haircut.

I subsequently left and got my haircut elsewhere (Styles)

A shame because the barber in the first chair looked like he knew what he was doing.

Wow! I cannot believe the response was really from the owner. I visit Miami once a month and have no affiliation to any other business. I do appreciate good customer service which is lacking at this establishment.

Believe me, if I cut hair I wouldn't last one day! (and I make much more money than I ever could as a barber)

There were only 3 barbers working the day I entered and nobody even acknowledged my presence as a potential customer.

I’m a well-known Twitch streamer with a daily audience that sees my face in HD — so yeah, I kinda care how I look. Came in here expecting a professional cut, walked out looking like I lost a bet. I asked for something clean and classic — instead, I got a lopsided hack job that made me look like a confused teenager trying to cut his own hair in the dark.

I’m a grown man. I take pride in my appearance — especially when thousands of people see me live. Now I’m stuck wearing a hat on stream and making excuses for this mess. Uneven fade, crooked hairline, butchered neckline… it’s almost impressive how badly it was done.

If you’re reading this and thinking about giving this place a shot — don’t. Unless you’re into public humiliation and bad jokes in your Twitch chat. I’m not even mad — I’m just disappointed and bald in places I shouldn’t be.
