It provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing visitors to relax and unwind in a peaceful setting.
The natural beauty of this beach is truly captivating. The pristine white sands and crystal-clear waters create a picturesque backdrop that is simply breathtaking. Whether you're taking a leisurely stroll along the shoreline or simply soaking up the sun, the beauty of this beach is sure to leave you in awe.
What sets North Beach Oceanside Park apart from other beaches is its unique full moon festivals. These events, which I had the pleasure of attending in the past, are truly magical. The combination of live music, art installations, and the ethereal glow of the moon creates an enchanting atmosphere that is hard to find elsewhere. If you have the opportunity to visit during one of these festivals, I highly recommend it for a truly memorable experience.

It is one of Miami's largest parks, and it runs from 78th Street to 87th Terrace. Over the years, the 28 acre site was left to nature.
In 2017 the city approved a 6 million dollar renovation of the park with Calvin, Giordarno & Associates as the project manager and West 8 heading the re-design. The renovation strived to preserve the parks plants, including large palm trees and sea grapes and the parks natural dune ecosystem which protects the park from rising sea levels. The goal was to improve the beauty and functionality of the park.
Today you can enjoy enjoy beach access with lifeguards on duty and plenty of room to spread out as you soak up the sun. North Shore Open Space Park also has a outdoor showers, restroom, dog park, picnic tables and grills, sand volley ball court, three pavilions for picnics with grills which can be rented, swings and a play area, and trails with an outdoor fitness challenge course with self-powered workout stations. Parking can be found in the municipal lot across the street on 83rd street and along Harding Ave. I really enjoyed walking the trails in the the park and it is a lot quieter than nearby South Beach which you can reach via an paved 8...

Moreover, when riding along this path, you get to see all the activities along the emerald green ocean, and glimpse of luxury beach living too. The back side of the famous Fountainbleau Hotel is stunning. A bit further north are some terrific examples of art deco architecture.
The police and park rangers were out in force today giving warnings to people on ebikes. A second warning comes with a ticket. At 7th street and at 12th street you can rent a Citibike if you don'thave your own it costs $18 for 4 hours. There's a number of playgrounds for young kids, and sand volleyball courts for adults. Or, you can lift weights if that's your thing. Even though it was pretty busy this afternoon, the ride time was less than one hour each way. It was a perfect breezy day. Even at $4.00 a gallon for gas, it's worth the drive to get there. We patked at 83rd St, three...
