I used to come here all the time and for some reason, tonight, ready for bed after 10pm, I decided to get a burger and made my way to this place. Getting out of my car, this homeless man approaches me and I immediately tell him I didn’t have cash but could buy him some food. He thanks me and asks me to get him anything. I told him to come choose what he wanted from the menu and he told me he was not allowed inside. I told him that was because he was not buying anything and that he was this time. We made the line and right before our turn, the Latino manager, Roberto I think was his name, starts yelling to Emmanuel, the homeless guy to get out. I tell him he’s with me and we are buying some food. He continues saying he could wait outside and I tell him he’s gonna see the menu and order. The manager continues yelling saying the food needs to be to go ( Emmanuel had already asked for it to go, I guess he knew already how these ppl treated him) I, knowing that there are tables outside, said that we would eat outside since he was not allowed inside. The manager, rude and nasty, continues screaming saying he couldn’t eat outside either and that he would t serve us food. That he would not allow us to purchase. I started filming the encounter. I stayed by the register to see if they wouldn’t sell to me. The guy in the register, young, embarrassed by the situation, with a shaky voice told me he could only sell to me if it was to go, I told him to proceed. Emmanuel ordered what he wanted and shaking, gave me his cup so I could put coke on it while he waited outside, I saw his eyes and immediately broke my heart to see how used he is to being dehumanized. I went and got the coke and took a video of the monster they have as a manager. I went outside to give the coke to Emmanuel who wouldn’t stop apologizing for what his presence next to him made me go through. I started crying and I apologized to him for allowing them to dehumanize him and treat him like human trash. A Russian guy who was also purchasing came to talk to us and apologized even though he has nothing to do with it. The level of dehumanization that I saw tonight, I’ve never seen in my life. This is not the first time I hit food for homeless ppl. I’ve been to pollo tropical and I go in with them and nobody tells us anything. I buy them food and they go their way unbothered. At this place they didn’t even allowed us to place the order before they were yelling and screaming in front of everyone. This ppl is exactly what’s wrong with society. Emmanuel is homeless but he was polite, he was not smelly, he was grateful. He just wanted food and I just wanted to give him a little of humanity that the world has denied him day after day. Nobody deserves to be put down like this. Dehumanized like this. Treated like he is disposable. This place doesn’t deserve clients and the man running it and making the others go along with his dehumanization doesn’t deserve to be in a position where he gets to treat ppl like trash. I received a reply from the establishment saying how they have a history with the homeless person ā€œharrassing and being disrespectful ā€œ which I’m sure they say of every homeless person, but IF THAT WAS THE CASE, isn’t the manager supposed to talk to me like a decent human being, pull me aside and tell me why he is not allowed instead of yelling and disrespecting a paying customer? Is this the way to manage the situation? Isn’t a MANAGER TRAINED TO HANDLE THESE SITUATIONS WITH RESPECT?? What kind of guidance have they received to deal with these situations? Yelling? Screaming and disrespecting someone who is just trying to do a good deed?...

They play really good music. Place is filthy, french fries are soggy from either being under cooked or over cooked with too much heavy oil. The Fish sandwich is dry mahi very chewy and was not worth the price. There’s no coffee/expresso machine yet they keep it on the menu. Cashier is terribly rude. I walked in at 11:30AM first shift and smiled at cashier, she did not smile back and more frowned. She continued to ignore me at the counter and wasn’t willing to take my order (this is a no service place where you order at counter and go pick up your food at counter, fetch your own drink, silverware and condiments) and then she squatted down to talk on phone and continue to ignore me and hide behind the counter not to take my order, I waited at 5 minutes and walked out. The positive reviews are misleading and probably done by the rude employees or customers buzzed up from the beer. They demand a tip and don’t serve, I’ve seen the cook check to see if you tip generously for no service and rude behavior, if you do not tip very well for not being served they retaliate and make you wait an unreasonable amount of time when they are not busy, you’re not being served at all as you have to order food with cashier, pick up food from cashier, go fetch your drink or they hand you your beer or milkshake at the counter when you order they do not serve it to you at your table you go find to sit similar as a fast food place, they demand tips with absolutely no service and rude...

This place is really chaotic and if you are in the area visiting it can be very confusing on the type of sitting system that they have. You basically have to stand outside waiting for people that are eating to get up from the table and rushed to the table so that you can have it. There's not a first come first serve atmosphere at this restaurant. is very annoying standing around waiting for a table because basically you are staring at people trying to figure out which table is going to be available next so that you can go stand directly there so the next person doesn't beat you to the table. Inside of the restaurant is no easy task in navigating neither. We finally just gave up and set inside at the counter after someone had gotten up from in there. We were only able to accomplish that becsuse while I waited outside someone else waited inside so that we could try to get a seat. The food was good and I enjoyed it very much however, it was not worth the hassle and the inconvenience of the experience. I would never go back to this place to eat. It one time experience was enough. Nevertheless, hands down to the line Cooks they never lost perspective or guy frustrated as the orders continue to pile on. There was so organized and worked so well together that it was kind of like watching an art piece. This place definitely has great potential but they must get control over there seating...
