I'm a super loyal customer to this place and was appalled with the treatment I received today. I was put on the spot by a cashier, who may also be the owner, because he thought I stole a dollar. I was holding 11 dollars, I handed him $10 to pay my $8.02 bill and he handed me a dollar back. He asked if had 2 pennies, I'm assuming so he can give me a full dollar instead of the 98 cents in return. I told him no as he was making faces telling his coworker that he needs to go to the restroom. Ew! Anyway.. he handed me the dollar and continued to cash other ppl out. When I asked him about my change he told me he gave me all my change because I'm holding two dollars not one dollar. Well of course I'm holding two, one left over from my 11 dollars and the one he gave me... how about that elusive 98 cents? He argued with me for five minutes and while shoppers and on lookers are just looking at the situation... he preceded to ask another co-worker to check the camera and took away my money. I mean he stopped cashing ppl out as he spoke loudly repeatedly saying, " i gave her two dollars, check i gave her two dollars! " after further investigation sure enough they discovered he didn't give me two dollars back. It wasn't so much the money, but the spectacle he made making me look like a thief. Usually the ppl there a pretty slow but the Indian ladies are awesome⛤⛤⛤⛤⛤ they get five unofficial stars. As for how that place is run though ummm no. Health inspection...

This is a family owned Indian/ Pakistani or some whereabouts in that area the owned. This is not a place but you should expect any level of customer service it's just not that type of place if you looking for really borderline low quality cheap food they have some of that and they also have regular items that are somewhat overpriced for some reason. But this is not a customer service or a service-oriented type people so this is not the place for that. And just to give you an idea what kind of place it is there is retail theft in any retail location but this is the type of place that behaves totally different than all the other stores in the area and the sense that they think they're in the South Bronx where they literally go through their cameras to catch people stealing lollipops and then posting their pictures as wanted posters with a written statement on the front doors and glass of the building. So that should help you understand just the type of place it is they also have meet Market in the back never bought me there and I don't think I ever will but if you're okay with it...

I never go inside that store is a little scary looking But a few days ago I saw as I was passing by lots of fruits and veggies, decided to go in to see prices and I was going to pay but when I saw the long line I changed m mind and put the item back and as I was leaving a store cashier or whoever he was stopped me asking me to pay for my own jug of water I always carry with me In another words the told me Thief, and they weren't polite at all. I showed them my water a water in bottle that is impossible to buy there, is personalized.... I will never go back there because I don't even blame them because the clientele there, was to me, of the lowest kind, like scam bags and on the front door there is a huge poster with a whole bunch of pictures of people that stole there before and can't go Inside the store.
