I lost my wallet last Monday, the next day I went to this Aldi because it had been the last place where I had used it, the first thing I did was ask a Mr. Alberto who collects the shopping carts, this kind man remembered that he had found the wallet, he even remembered the photo of my driver's license that was in it, he told me that he gave it to a supervisor (Dianelys) and that she took it to management and left it there. Hopeful, I went in search of the Manager accompanied by Mr. Alberto. When Mr. Omar (Manager) came out of his office to assist us, we told him everything that happened. It was then that Mr. Omar entered the office again and supposedly checked the lost and found area. , he comes out and tells me that he is not there, I ask him to ask his colleagues and check the cameras but he tells me that the cameras are all broken but that if I want I can return on Friday I returned on Friday and Mr. Omar (Manager), clearly upset in a rude tone, told me that he had checked the cameras and that there was nothing and that he had little time to continue assisting me, I told him that I would escalate this and he responded. Upon ending my shopping experience I head over to the cashier line and as usual the line was long with grumbling customers. I saw a cashier near one of the closed registers who appeared to be opening a new lane. I asked the cashier “are you opening a new lane “ she smiled and replied “no”. As I walked away she announced in Spanish that the lane was opening. I watched everyone from the long line rush over to the lane I just asked about.
