Roland Barber shop & Beauty Salon — Attraction in Miami

I am in town for the Beaux Art Festival at University of Miami. Googled "haircut near me" and everything closed at 8. Googled "haircut near me open" and Roland Barber Shop came up. When I arrived one guy was getting a haircut and a couple more were sitting in barber chairs hanging out. One of them, Diego, hopped up and invited me to have his seat. I speak almost no Spanish, but with the help of the bilingual owner (Roland?) Diego understood what I wanted and proceeded to do an expert job. I wish I had learned Spanish when my wife did. I could not have felt more welcome if I could speak Spanish, but felt like I was missing out! Lots of laughter and warmth filled the place, people coming and going. This Pennsylvania gringo thoroughly enjoyed a perfect haircut at a relaxed pace in a Latino/Miami establishment....
