Fritanga La Fuente — Restaurant in Miami

Fritanga La Fuente is the best for collaborating with TooGoodToGo.

tonight i decided to say heck it and drive through the storm to get our surprise meal, which i was hesitant to do since we didn’t know what we’d get.

but i committed and in the process i hit a wicked pothole, dealt with the practically lane-less streets plus flooding! and avoided the “not good in rainy weather” drivers... (just another day in miami)

all to be blessed with the yummiest big platter of food that i got to take back home :) (yet another blessing)

i hope other restaurant owners see the greatness in colabs like this and make a change as well!

I’ve been to this fritanga a few times and I’m never fully satisfied with the quality of the food, unfortunately. It’s not the first time the gallo pinto is not well made. Seems like they mix old rice with new rice and they end up cooking it too much that the rice becomes hard. The carne asada is ok not amazing but it’s edible. I’ve given this place too many chances and I would prefer just going out of my way to get consistent food. Pls try your food to make sure it’s up to standards before serving...
