I’ve been a fan of Carrot Express for a while, but unfortunately, my experience with this specific location hasn’t been great. Despite living above in the River Landing apartments, I’ve stopped going here due to various issues. These include slow service, even when it’s not busy, frequent mistakes with my order, and consistently mispronouncing my name. However, my main concern is with their deceptive POS system, which defaults to a 20% tip without offering the option to choose a lower percentage or no tip until after the transaction. From the moment we arrived, the service provided by Catalina was exceptional. She was attentive, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious!. The restaurant itself was spotless, which did not go unnoticed, and added to the overall positive experience.
