My good girlfriend and I’s birthdays are a day apart. We decided to do a dual celebration and booking at Tanuki did not disappoint! The ambience was everything. Upon walking in, Inwas greeted by the most beautiful, warm hostess, who personally escorted me to the table, where my friend was already seated. Jimmy was absolutely sensational. His energy was like no other. We were already excited to dine at the establishment, but his service took our experience to the next level. His recommendations were spot on. The Pornstar Martini is my absolute favorite cocktail (and to think I wanted to order a French 75; thanks for talking me out of it Jimmy!). Jimmy recommended the Salmon Truffle Pear (absolutely DIVINE) and the Tuna Crispy Rice (DELICIOUS) as appetizers. I was in a sushi mood, so he also recommended the Spicy Salmon Roll as well as the Temptation Roll. I ended up ordering both and just as Jimmy said, the rolls didn’t disappoint! My good girlfriend raved about her Mango Chicken entree. The evening was filled with great conversation and good vibes. The staff sang happy birthday to my girlfriend and I, and er indulged in celebratory tequila shots followed by Jimmy taking the absolute BEST photos of us (when I say Jimmy gets the BEST angles, he can add ‘photographer’ to his CV). We were having such a ball that we stayed until after closing and all the staff was so accommodating and continued to hype us up as we celebrated. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect birthday dinner. And to top it all off, Jimmy is ALSO a Cancer (Happy Birthday Jimmy and have a fabulous trip my love!)
