Running Through Your World – A Morning Jogging Route Experience in Miami

MUST TRY!! Venetian Causeway is hands down one of the best spots for jogging, cycling, or just taking a relaxing walk after work. The views of Downtown Miami and Edgewater are absolutely stunning, especially during golden hour—it’s the perfect backdrop for any workout. You’ll see plenty of locals using the path for the same reason, whether they’re running, biking, or just soaking in the scenery. If you’re cycling, it takes about 15 minutes from Edgewater to South Beach, and walking is roughly 50 minutes one way. Plus, there are Citi Bike stations at both ends, making it super convenient. If you’re looking for a spot to get your cardio in while enjoying some of the best views Miami has to offer, this is it. Highly recommended!

Venetian Causeway is one of the lesser-known causeways while it does have a toll you can avoid a lot of major traffic from not going on the MacArthur Causeway or getting on the 195 as those get typically congested. The Venetian Causeway connects directly into the mouth of the Omni bus station a very popular bus stop that connects to the Metro mover as well. I recommend biking and running on this causway over the other two major highways and as the bike lanes are clearly labeled.

This is first ever drawbridge in action. Was around art district and found this place near by. First we thought of walking up to it but found to be very far. So drove here, and luckily we got to see couple of ships crossing the bridge. It only took 5 mins for 2 ships to cross, and there were red lights similar to rail road crossing.

One warning is, right after this bridge there is a toll, so keep eye on it, if you are going here only to see the draw bridge you can simply take the u turn right after the bridge to...
