Aqua Party Boat — Local services in Miami

Had a party today for my daughter’s 15th birthday. It was suppose to be a special day. It was not. Thanks to Aqua Party Boat that special moment was tarnished. The captain that was there was nice and a good captain, the only thing I didn’t like was that when the trip was over he got off the boat and started telling people I slapped my husband for looking at other women. Let’s start off by saying that is completely false and secondarily where is the professionalism? The lady who was assisting the captain was a little rude. She continued to turn down the music, even during the father daughter dance completely ruining the moment. The captain would allow us to turn up the music and next thing you know she would come and turn it right back down. We retried the father daughter dance three times because she continued to turn off the music. She would not allow me to set up the food and drinks as I felt most comfortable, of course within what they allowed. Seems to me she has a superiority complex, and wants to be in control. Beware they state there is enough bottled water, but there is most definitely not enough water for 45 passengers. So if you decide to hire them, understand they will not have enough water and soda for you. We didn’t even have 45 passengers on board, imagine had we actually had the 45 passengers we were allowed. Everyone would’ve gone thirsty. The trash would be overflowing, and they would not come and change it. Lastly, Kira is as good as a door knob. She is as generic as it can be. Offers zero help or information. Zero guidance. If you message her you’ll received a response from her three days later, if that. The day of the event she is completely useless. Will not answer your calls or text messages. If you are having a party they only allow you to come on board 15 minutes prior to set up. That’s not reasonable at all. Kira told me as a courtesy she could allow me 30 minutes instead of 15. Still definitely not enough time. so sure they want you to use them as a party service, but they don’t want you to be a nuisance because of the party. Kira and the captain made it seem like it was such an inconvenience for us to do light decorating. But again, they want you to use their service to do your parties. They want their cake and eat it too. I received several quotes from different boat rental companies. I picked aqua party because of the amenities they stated they offered, although they were the only company who did not offer food or snacks. The large floats, I was promised, specifically the ones I had requested were not delivered. The floats I received at max could fit five people each (X2). Again, not enough water. I rented for 6 hours because we were suppose to anchor for 4 hours, at least. We were anchored for 3 hours. Felt like our party was cut short. I was promised we would be able to go to Monument Island, when I informed the captain he made it seem like it would be too much of a mission. So the captain ended up taking us to trashy haulover where my children were exposed to nudity by men and women. Police had to get involved. Lastly, once the trip was over we were quite literally kicked off the boat. We were picking stuff up and trying to get everything out and at the same time we were being rudely rushed to get off the boat. They said they had another party coming in, but who books immediately after one finishes? Do they expect me to snap my fingers and make everything I brought on board disappear within seconds? They should not inconvenience me so they can squeeze out every penny. Also, find a Party boat Rental company that has a marina with a parking lot. This marina does not have a parking lot, which is extremely inconvenient. At the time of booking, I was not advised of this issue. It was not until after I paid the deposit that I was informed they had no parking available. At the end of the day this is my fault. I knew Kira was not professional, and I conducted business with a company who has an individual like that representing them. All the red flags were there, and I didn’t take...

This is going to be a very long review because this man CAPTAIN MIKE AKA MAGIC MIKE AKA DADDY MIKE is clearly the nicest, sweetest, most kind and caring individual. Like the world does not deserve this man. I’m writing an essay simply because he took care of my bachelorette group as if we were his own friends, his own family. I think my two boat trips with him were my favorite parts of my bachelorette, especially the spontaneous sunset one that was offered to us since we had a great time on his boat. It was everything I dreamed of and more. First, safety was his top priority. As a captain you don’t want your passengers to worry or get hurt or feel like they might fall overboard, and he definitely made sure to keep us safe and would be extremely gracious to us whenever we did something that we weren’t supposed to do. He was not rude about it, and he really prioritized us getting on and off the boat. We don’t normally go on boats a lot so we all really listened to whatever he had to tell us. His patience for our lack of knowledge of boats was unmatched. Second, his hospitality while on and off the boat were through the roof. He welcomed us in his boat with open arms and gave us the best food recommendations. Told us the tourist traps and told us what would be worth it. He stocked up on waters and sodas for us and kept our alcohol nice and cold. Third, he was extremely informative about all of the celebrity houses! It was so exciting to hear about them not just because we were excited to hear about it, but because he was so happy to tell us. The best part was, his boat usually gets to see Diddy (which i didn’t believe at first), said that his last few tours have seen him and gotten a bottle of De León! I was thinking “what are the chances?” AND IT HAPPENED. A huge highlight for my bachelorette group!! I told Captain Mike I didn’t believe but wow was that man right. Last but not least, he knew how to give us West Coast visitors a true Miami waters experience on a boat. We had so much fun with all the floaties and the water on the first tour. Then the sunset tour, wow, i thought i was dreaming. He took us to the best picture spots, told us where the best pictures would be. Let us play our own music, Let us play in the sand bar and be at the Miami skyline The sunset tour is definitely one for the books in my entire life. I absolutely will come again and request him as my captain.

Someone needs to give this man a raise or new car or boat upgrades because he deserves the world for his kindness! Loved the motto he has in the cabin room “Work hand and be nice to people” Wow that was exactly what he did for us and I am extremely grateful for having a captain like Captain Mike to make our day and night a wonderful experience. Captain Mike was amazing!!!! He really made us feel at home. He even took his time to talk about the homes or buildings we would pass by on the boat , in case you are not to familiar with Miami. My crew and I were all from LA so even after the boat ride he gave us good food recommendations and which beaches to go to. We went to a Italian restaurant after his boat ride and it was amazing , also he said to go to South Point Beach which also was a beautiful site to be at and the weather was perfect that day for the beach. My crew loved him so much we went back to him for he next day for a night tour ! The one thing we loved about him was how nice he was and had good energy so we knew we were in great hands when we first met him and didn’t even think twice about wanting to book a night tour the next day last minute. The boat ride it’s self was fun you can swim in the ocean and he attaches floats so you can relax without the current moving you away from the boat . He allows you to play music through your phone and any kind of music you want and how loud you want. You can bring your own alcohol and he has ice chests ready for you and he also can provide sodas and water for you (I am not to sure if that came with the price , I was there for a bachelorette so I just zelled whatever I needed to my friend haha ).
