The Plaza Theatre — Attraction in Miamisburg

Just rented this space for a non-tradirional, film themed HS graduation party. Everyone at The Plaza is amazing!! Welcoming and really know film. We got to pick any movie you can buy on Blu-ray, and got to play some homemade movies first. They also let us have an "open bar" at concessions. The food was hot and fresh, and all our guests got to order whatever they wanted and we just paid at the end for whatever was ordered. The location is perfect! Everyone broke into groups and hung out in the 'Burg when the party ended. We picked this for our son, but it was such a great event this is our new go-to venue for anytime we need an idea. This is a great place to see a movie and they have the best popcorn at any of the theaters that my nephew and I have been to and we've been to quite a few!! My only concern is with the coronavirus concern that they aren't monitoring the seating, I think they should have every other row taped off and obviously like they say at least 3 seats in between strangers! But yesterday I was there with no one around and then a guy sits directly behind me in the next row, who was coughing throughout much of the show, I did move down a couple seats once I noticed him there after the movie started. I think that you've done a good job with everything other than that! We still love your place but until I know that's changed I most likely won't be...

Can’t say enough about how amazing this place is. I’m not originally from the area so i actually didn’t know it existed until recently. They were showing my absolute favorite film tonight (The Last of the Mohicans), and WOW. The guy presenting the film tonight did an amazing job introducing and giving us interesting facts on the film and story. You could tell how passionate he was about the movie itself which I loved since it is my favorite. The volunteers working were kind and the atmosphere was just perfect. The theater was well maintained and comfortable. I can’t wait to come back. I love that they show both new and old movies, it’s so exciting to see your favorite classics on the big screen.
