Barrelhouse The Venue — Attraction in Michigan City

We had our wedding here with past October. This company is split into two parts. Barrelhouse is the venue and Zorn is the brewery. Barrelhouse was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the experience. The venue was beautiful and the Zorn bar staff members serving us were amazing. We are lovers of craft beer! One of the reasons we chose this venue was because it was promoted that they could brew a beer for us on our wedding day. Then we were told after the fact by Zorn that they couldn't brew a beer for us. This was at 2 or 3 months ahead of time. If it is important to have a craft beer brewed at your wedding, make sure it is official before signing the contract. For our wedding day, we chose 2 beers weeks ahead of time to serve during the reception. On the actual wedding day, the bar manager failed to tell us one of the beers were out and picked one to serve at our wedding for us without asking us first. Barrelhouse is THE Venue! Kyla, the event coordinator at this place, was very very pleasant and helpful to work with. I especially appreciated her easy approach to the whole process of event planning. In return, this helped me be at ease as well. Thank you. However, this is not to imply lack of excellence on her part! She was very thorough, skilled, patient, and also great at pointing out other resources that she felt we might need. We booked Barrelhouse for my daughter's (Bella) 21st Birthday Celebration and this place was absolutely perfect! It made decorating a breeze because of the beauty that is already there. We were so grateful! Would certainly book this venue again and more importantly, I would work with Kyla again and recommend her to other Divine-experience seekers! Trés magnifique!!!!👌

Just played at the Barrelhouse again Probably my tenth time. It is such a great place to have a ceremony and reception , Kayla makes everything run perfectly smooth, and she is an awesome girl to deal with, I absolutely love working there it's easy in easy out for us I own a DJ service and it is beyond a pleasure to work with them , The place is very historic and beautiful inside and out I hugely recommend it 10 stars and can't wait to return there again Bill from A Sound...
