Lakeside Kitchen — Restaurant in Michigan City

The only thing I liked on the menu was the pot roast it was tender and good flavor however I only got 1 tiny carrot smaller than my pinky and 1 pearl onion that's it nothing else so don't expect it to look anything like the picture on the menu because of the 4 times I have had it has not had anything else. I have tried the ribs 3 different times and I couldn't cut them off the bone let alone bite them they were the worst. The walleye is very small portion maybe 5 oz so not worth the price. I was charged for 3 of my sides when the menu clearly stated that meals come with 1 side and never told that yes you can get a side but they charged an "upgrade fee" for the sides so they really don't "come with the meal". The mashed potatoes that I got to go with the pot roast I clearly asked for beef gravy after getting turkey gravy 2 times I gave up. The Mac and cheese which is something that they tell you is a side you can get with your dinner you have to pay extra for and of the 4 times I have gotten it it is very dry and tasteless and I asked for extra sauce on my last order and didn't get. They have coffee machine but no coffee cups. I would say that the best thing that they offer are the desserts and they are brought in from elsewhere not made fresh in the restaurant . They do have great servers which I think take a lot of complaints because the food is not as good as it should be for the price they charge and it takes a long time to get your food and all of the times I have been there my orders have never come out right or all together. Not a place I would recommend. As a matter of fact I wouldn't recommend any of the restaurants at Blue Chip as the food quality has gone so far down from what it used to be I got spoiled back before everything changed so majorly with the company trying to cut costs and save money They don't care about their customers anymore just the bottom line which is a shame because they were my favorite place for food and fun and I used to bring all kinds of friends and recommend it to everyone. Now I don't go there anymore and I don't recommend it to anyone sorry you guys lost my faith and business. OMG couldn't Boyd Gaming do better then this?. On positive side, food was good. That's it. First red flag u ordered at the counter like you were at McDonald's. Then your food was brought out by a robot!! Yes a robot.. All food brought out all at once. Ordered a salad, meal dessert, guess what Rosie from the Jetsons brought all same time.There is NO human contact but a hostess trying to think it's funny. Told me when asked if I could possibly have my salad and bisquets which were extra. Before my meal..mind you waited already 45min, I was lucky for her to bring out my salad. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? LUCKY.? This was the biggest disappointment ever. Just showcases why this world has no human feelings or emotions. The worst part, Blue Chip only offers 1 Restaurant open at a time. If you go out to the blue chip casino you will have to give the like side kitchen a try, so far the food is not bad it is pretty good and you get a lot to eat, as you come in the restaurant you go up to the front desk to put in your order for what you would like to eat and pay for it right there, then you go find a table that you would like to sit at then you will go up and get what you would like to drink, in about ten minutes you're food order should be arriving to your table by a robot with your waitress. Ps one of the other things that I don't like about this restaurant is the way that you're order is brought out to you like if you ordered soup and a dessert with your dinner order, they bring out everything at the same time giving you no time to enjoy eating...
