I recently had a print dry mounted by David in the framing department at Michaels, and I cannot express enough how exceptional his service has been. His knowledge and expertise in the framing department were immediately apparent, and it was clear that he takes great pride in his work.
What sets David apart is his technical skills and genuine passion for helping customers. He took the time to understand the sentimental value of the piece I wanted to dry mount and offered insightful suggestions to enhance its presentation. His attention to detail and commitment to my satisfaction exceeded my expectations.
Moreover, David's patience and friendly demeanor made the entire framing process enjoyable. He listened attentively to my preferences, answered all my questions with a smile, and even provided valuable input on the final details of the print. It's rare to find someone so dedicated to their craft and the happiness of their customers.
Michaels is fortunate to have such a valued employee who consistently goes above and beyond to create a positive and memorable customer experience. Thanks to his outstanding efforts, I am grateful for the exceptional service I received from David and will undoubtedly return to Michaels for any future...
Read moreI was at Michaels to purchase a large drawing pad, when I went to check out there were 3 clerks at registers... 1 was on the phone, 1 was counting and recounting sheets of paper and the last left and was gone for the rest of my standing in line. There were 15 more customers in line in front of me and for 5 minutes we stood and watched the clerks do whatever it was they were doing (which wasn't checking people out). I finally gave up as it didn't seem like I would be able to get out of the store within the next 30 minutes and none of the people who were at the checkouts had made it through. I emailed the home office and received a phone call where the person said "well we are sorry... is there anything else we can do for you?" That's it. No, "we will send you a coupon" or anything. Anyway it all worked out because I went to Joann's and found the same drawing pad for $5 cheaper (half the price of Michaels). I won't be making the same...
Read moreI typically shop at Hobby Lobby and Michaels for kids crafts and art supplies for myself. Most recently, I bought some Posca markers at both stores and had a vastly different experience. At Michaels, in an upscale Middleton mall, the markers were locked behind a case with multiple anti-theft sticker and I had to walk half way across the store to find an employee who solely asked what I wanted (not how they could help or if I needed help) and then carried it directly to the front. The pack was $29.99. At Hobby Lobby, in the WEST TOWNE MALL (a busier and not as safe area) the exact same packs were $22.99, they had a wider variety and NO locks or anti theft stickers. This stark difference makes Michaels seem either behind the times and overly strict or in danger...
