Do NOT do business with this establishment. The owner is rude and disrespectful and it’s not surprising her staff operates the same way.
I rented out the facility for my daughter 4th birthday last year. I went two days before to see how we would setup decorations. The owner was unapproachable and act as if my business was not wanted. My husband said she may have been having a bad day. As Christians we forgave her and moved on with the party. The day of the event the owner was not available to discuss the lack of service we received from her staff. There was one young lady who was very helpful and stated she had just started but did not like the vibe of her coworkers. I reached out to the owner multiple times to discuss the staff behavior and was told the owner was out on vacation. Overall, the privacy of the facility for my child after Covid was needed and we enjoyed ourselves minus the staff.
Fast forward to this year, I rented the facility out again and everything I thought the first time was correct. The owner is racist and do not care to have African Americans business so she is very rude while they are in her establishment.
I walked in with decorations and placed them on the table to start setting up. No one said hello or even smiled. The owner was wiping off tables and after 2-3 trips back to the car and no one on staff seeming welcoming of my business, I walked over and asked the woman was she the owner. She turned around and nodded yes. I stated “hello since I have not received a smile or anything since I walked in which is very disrespectful especially coming from the owner”. She nodded and walked away. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS...
Read moreI'm giving 5 stars cause the place was super fun we just got done at the adult skate which was all diverse from older people to older teens!
However the lady in the red sweater I didn't get her name was giving us rude looks and overall made us feel pretty self conscious as new skaters. (we rented a skate buddy which I wasn't told we can't take in the rink tonight, she just said stick to the edge of the rink, however when my second friend went to rent one he was straight denied and told they aren't allowed on the rink) tbh I'm fine with just not renting one if they aren't allowed but she rented one to us anyway saying "oh we don't typically rent on the adult night but its 5 dollars".
That line embarrassed us a bit so my friend felt too embarrassed to actually use it. We had fun anyway but if you are that lady please be a bit more considerate with how you say stuff. Even if this is all just a misunderstanding the same lady gave my friend a really rude look when she asked to return the walker at the end of our night
overall this place is fun and I def wanna come back and get some lessons. To give a good shout out the dude in green that rented us the skates was super nice and very friendly also music was amazing and loved the vibe...
Read moreHosted a birthday here. Website says skaters are welcome for the ENTIRE public skate session. Was informed on party day that they are not. Skaters are allowed from the party start time until the end of the party. Party packages are for 90 minutes, but they will not bring out the ice cream or drinks until halfway through. Party packages include one trip through the "fun machine" for birthday child. They did not oblige until after party ended. They also did not make a party goers announcement at the start of our party. It was up to me to gather everyone. They played several songs with curse words and only switched music when my husband asked (after I'd asked several times). Overall, the experience was over priced. The staff remained professional, so at least there's that. The facility itself seemed in good repair. The floor was smooth and easy to skate on. The rental skates were in good shape and smelled clean. The drinks, ice cream and snacks were good. The staff was patient with the children, and even helped one of mine with a bandaid. I'd visit to skate again, but would not recommend...
