This place has been my favorite place to shop but is getting progressively worse every time I have gone lately. Many different problems that make absolutely no sense.
Clothes are way to expensive. $17.99 for some shirts or even jeans is not conducive to the spirit of thrift shoppers trying to buy stuff on a small budget.
Donations center is so sporadic with their hours that it's hard to know when they are going to be taking donations and when they're not. I call ahead before I leave to catch a bus and bring all my donations on a bus and by the time I get there they say the donations center is closed? I bring all my donations all the way there and spend $2.50 on the bus to come and get turned away? It happens way too often.
Items that I consistently find at Dollar Tree brand new are consistently marked at $2-3 used? Someone needs to pay attention to the pricing of items. You are literally charging people more for a used item then when it was brand new. Even if it IS brand new, it was previously purchased and donated for free so it shouldn't be sold for new prices.
No dressing rooms. Understaffed or covid - all lame excuses. They exchange if it doesn't fit, but do I need to go all the way home, try it on a all the way back there on the city bus when it doesn't fit? Come on, folks. Common sense. I just bought the clothes, turned around and went back to the restroom to try them on and returned what didn't fit. A changing room would be MUCH MORE sanitary than a public restroom!
Small toys are sold in bulk in big bags instead of being individually bagged and having one set price per toy. So I have to buy 4 toys and pay for 4 toys even though my daughter only wants 1 of them?
End Result: I could not donate, so I got no discount as I expected. Expensive stuff and had to donate 3 of the 4 toys I purchased back to Savers because of the pricing policies and procedures.

Read moreI go to this savers a lot so I've seen many changes. Here are some horrible procedures I've noticed in men's clothing and behind glass.
-Mens Tshirts are priced typically $8+ anything valuable is price gouged more.
-Jeans are typically $10+ for fast fashion brands like old navy, george, walmart brands, and target brands. Levis are typically $20 dollars for a okay pair. $15 for mids. Carhartt jeans are absurdly priced. I've seen pairs for upwards of $50+. These are jeans you can get new for cheaper and not vintage or anything special.
-Mens button ups is genuinely the only section that is remotely fairly priced. Even then they will typically price at par with ebay or more.
-hats are all almost 5 dollars. Hit or miss here.
-jackets and coats. Overpriced garbage. This is typically where i see the highest tags on the worst brands. Even brands that are good they want upwards of 100+ dollars.
-The glass. The glass almost never has anything good, which is okay. When it does it's typically priced 20 dollars more than its online counterpart in heavily used condition. Jewelry is mostly all fake or mid brands found at tjmaxx.
Overall, if you want a better experience go to a consignment shop. Or the large local mormon thrift store. Typically the prices are the same as here but the clothes are good brands and like new condition. This savers price gouges. Remember your identity and...
Read moreDo not go here! Price's are insanely ridiculous!! Especially for what it is. You can go to the DI and prices are a third of what they are here. Its all donation stuff I cant believe they can gauge people. I was there yesterday to get my grandson a pair of shoes for his performance hes going to wear one time so i'd rather thrift them but even the kids selection for a pair of plain brown dress shoes that have clearly been warn we're 16! We didnt get any but then went around the store to look around. Most pants we're 12-13.00 for leggings. Mens long sleeve shirts just plain were 14. WTH Savers do you understand that your a thrift store? Its ridiculous. I don't think I will be going back there anytime soon... And I wont be donating here either anymore, and telling my friends to not to either. There are plenty of thrift stores that are fair prices and nicer then this place. People are already suffering with the high prices for a place that literally sells donated things you are not helping the problem. End of my rant. We ended up at TJ Maxx and found what we needed that was NEW and far less priced then savers. YES- you can find things at TJmaxx and Ross for LESS then savers.. AND NEW. I hope they get it together and make their prices what...
