We stayed 2 nights beginning 3/13/22 ... we had a 2 room suite, one with a king bed and one with a queen, 2 bathrooms, couch and kitchenette ... it was very clean, nice, roomy, new and made you feel right at home ... I believe it's listed as an Air B&B which (no maid service daily, towels or linens changed/bed made) which was fine with us, especially since we were only there for 2 nights ... the 2nd floor of the Crazy Water Hotel opened October 2021 ... if I remember right, the 2 upper floors are apartments ... all 3 rooms had AMAZING blackout blinds!! The Lobby is expansive! They are still doing renovations on the hotel - still need to finish several areas, but everything worked out just fine, except, however, I do wish they had cable TV set up before opening these rooms - we were told it's coming but it's hard to get it for so many rooms (not sure that I understood that explanation by the cleaning staff) but everyone was very friendly and kind ... all the apps were on the TV, you just had to sign in, IF you have those accounts - Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, etc. The little shops inside the Crazy Water Hotel Plaza were open each day, however, many stores there are closed Sunday/Monday or Monday/Tuesday - we wish we had thought of checking into that, but we had a very nice time and enjoyed our girls trip as we found plenty to do and just relaxed in between and had quality time! I would go again, but would want the TV's to have cable next time and would go when ALL the shops in walking distance are open! Enjoy your stay!

Amazing! I was in town for my niece's wedding nearby, and it exceeded my expectations. Everything was spotless, and the entire staff was exceptionally warm, helpful, and immediately responsive, regardless of the request. The room had a full-size refrigerator, cooktop, and oven and would make a great efficiency type of setup for a longer stay. It was a great base for my four night visit to the area. The hotel is steps away from local restaurants and night life (just walk downstairs to the brewery or grab a bite frim the onsite restauranr) and beautifully blends the historic charm of a vintage hotel with sleek, modern appointments and decor. You simultaneously feel like you've stepped back in time to the early 1900s as well as in a high-end posh and elegant sophisticated modern hotel. What stood out the most to me was the warm engagement of the staff that took their time to make you feel truly welcomed. Make sure you check out the fun activities, like yoga on the roof at sunset or sunrise. There are onsite shops and a historic museum, too. Drop a letter in their vintage letter box and let them know what you think about your stay. They really read them! The views of the historic downtown areas are stunning. I also had a chance to peek at their 7th floor ballroom, which was gorgeous and had exceptional views. I couldn't have been happier with my choice to stay here. The pricing is very reasonable and the quality is top-notch. I'll be back again once their spa opens, for sure!

The modern comforts seamlessly blend with old-timey charm in this seven-story hotel. I stayed in a suite with a queen bed, large enough for a family that is if the children slept on the sofa in the living area. All but two rooms boast full kitchens, giving guests the perfect excuse to channel their inner chefs. The hotel features the Rickhouse Brewing brewpub, retail shopping, a small museum of curios, and The Crazy Coffee and Water Bar, nestled in the original 1927 bar. This charming spot lets you sip on three types of Crazy Water: Crazy 2 is drawn from a well 250 ft deep. Crazy 3 is a medium-content mineral water drawn 350 ft. deep and Crazy 4, my favorite is full-bodied, drawn from 120 ft deep with the highest mineral content of them all. You can also indulge in a menu of exotic Joe at this bar. Onto the rooftop area where Larry Hagman’s mother Mary used to teach dance in the then ballroom years ago. Now we use it for weddings, events, live concerts and the like. If you go outside, you have a gorgeous view of the small hills and of course the Baker Hotel across the way. Still one year away from completion, The Crazy Hotel is going to open a modern spa with mineral baths replete with all the modern services a spa offers. The only observation I made (why they didn't receive a 5 star review) is that the shower didn't have any shelves for shampoo or soap.

WOW. Been waiting ages to finally stay here since they finished the hotel and we got to stay last night. We used to come out to MW more often when we lived closer to Fort Worth to get mineral water right up the road at the original smaller location. Been excited since they told us they are trying to renovate this building. They have done a beautiful job. I really appreciate that the renovation kept the history and original look of the hotel while complementing it with modern pieces here and there. So impressive. We got room 415. My husband called to make sure that we had a room facing away from the nearby businesses that some reviews mentioned could be a little noisy. I have auditory sensitivities, and this room was absolutely perfect. We slept like a rock. The bed was very comfortable. The room is extremely spacious and as you can see, the bathroom is huge and immaculately clean. One of my favorite parts about this hotel is that they are pet/cat friendly. We have been travel training our kitten since we adopted him. It means a lot that business is like this will allow him to come travel with us. (Pet fee per stay) We had a wonderful stay and we absolutely will be back! Highly recommending to our friends and family and to anyone reading these reviews!
