We loved the food and service here. It's an extremely busy place, so be prepared to wait. We went there on a Friday and waited for about 15-20 mins for the food to arrive. But that's understandable because they were packed. However, our server was very attentive and checked on us frequently if our coffee mugs we re full or if we needed anything. Amazing service despite being so busy. We ordered a bunch of stuff, including Belgian waffles, sausage and gravy, eggs, bacon, hash browns, etc and everything tasted perfect. I wish they had a branch closer to where we live

Very small quaint place. Our friend had a walker which several things made it very hard. First the ramp out front was very steep and caused her to start stepping backwards. So the west part of the ramp is not advisable unless you can hold the person's weight. The small incline at the front door was another challenge since you had to lift the walker up a bit and hold your footing at the same time. Again, you have to be able to support the person's weight going in the door. The tables are really close together so getting her walker down the aisle without hitting chairs was the third obstacle. Finally where to put the walker, folded up, was the next one. The place was packed so we propped it up against the window sill. They had specials so my brother got chicken fried steak, our friend got catfish, Mom got breakfast and I got grilled cheese with bacon. Mine had a lot of grease. Our friend loved her catfish though! On a scale of 5 I would give this place a 3. The server, Dee, was very kind but was too busy to be attentive. The food was really greasy. The restaurant was clean but some silverware was not. The tea was excellent.

This place used to be named Jones' Cafe. I guess it was sold a couple of years ago. It used to be owned by my aunts family. I have some very good memories here. This remains a great place to eat under the new ownership. I ordered the Doi le Bacon Cheeseburger my wife ordered the Club Sandwich. They were both very good. We also ended up sharing a slice of freshly baked Coconu Cream pie. If you are ever in Mineral Wells Texas and you are hungry you should stop by. It's a small place where locals eat. You know it's good.

We stopped here on our way through Mineral Wells. Fantastic choice. Everything we ordered was great, but of special note were the onion rings, the rolls, the mashed potatoes, and the cherry meringue pie. My wife grew up in West Texas, and she was having a "Ratatouille" moment as the taste of the food and the decor swept her back to her childhood. Our waitress was also great and very friendly. (BTW it seems to have been partially renamed, the menus said "Tanya's Diner @ Jones Cafe")

We came in and was greeted by Suzie. She was very helpful on what to order (husband ordered breakfast 1lb ham steak) and checked on us throughout our meal. And even though they close at 230 they were in no rush or hurry to get rid of us. I would definitely recommend this place if your ever in the area and ask for Suzie. Heads up peach cobbler is ohhhhhmazing 🙂
