This review is NOT about the water. Rather it's on their CUSTOMER service, for those who refill water. So the owner or whatever position she holds, CAROL...decided NOT to replace the 5 gallon glass bottle which one of their employees dropped.. It was made of glass. We were glad that she wasn't injured. We prefer glass to plastic. Carol feels that a mere store credit is somehow sufficient for my loss. According to her, her employees are NOT allowed to carry glass bottles under any circumstances. I respect this policy as I told her but, my question is, why did the employee TOUCH my property then? My husband and I send his grandmother to refill water for us since I'm pregnant. A young man who worked there told us a while back that IT IS PART OF OF HIS JOB TO CARRY THE WATER BOTTLES INTO THE CAR. I wish I remembered his name since every time we went there, he loaded us up. I just don't understand how this magical policy, which we don't have a problem with popped up only after an employee who clearly doesn't even seem to be aware of the policy. We spoke to Elizabeth, the manager and she was polite over the phone and never mentioned such. This RUDE lady who thinks destruction of property warrants some sort of credit needs to understand that there are people who take their health seriously and therefore even replacing the water with more of the same in a plastic bottle is not beneficial. As a business owner as she claims to be, she needs more education on management and customer service and common sense in handling...
Read moreIt was my local Aldi grocery store where I first discovered Crazy Water. At first I thought it was like their brand of water, and when I got home my dad was like, "Did you go all the way out to Mineral Wells?!?" and I was like "uhh.. No!" After telling him where I found it, he tells me the story of the water and the minerals in it, as I noticed it has a little different taste than most bottled waters. Then here lately, relearning the Crazy lady story and the water, I just decided to make a trip out to Mineral Wells and check out this historic site for myself! It's a very nice water and gift shop with a very nice and friendly staff. Got me a personal size four-pack of the four levels of the waters, and having one a day in numerical order, I kinda have been feeling this degree of feeling good! Although I know where to find this water locally, I would love to return to purchase more as I love it out here in...
Read moreSpent the weekend in Mineral Wells and had to stop at this famous landmark that started all the "Crazy" talk. Very cool history behind the mineral wells of the city and the decades of customers flocking to the city to drink and soak in it. We purchased some of their 4-packs that have a .5 liter sample of each of the four levels of mineral content you can purchase, plus a case of the #1 for a daughter who needs alkaline water for health reasons. You can sample the various waters right there in the store to figure out which you like best.
The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. We were there on a Saturday morning and this place was hopping! Locals coming in from all over to get their big bottles for dispensers replaced. Fun to watch all the action. They also have souvenirs of various types centered around the Crazy Water. Worth your...
