Great dish but unfortunately it came with a fly. Once it was brought to the waitress attention she gladly exchanged for a new plate minus the fly. However, there was no compensation at all for such an horrific experience as well as having to wait for another plate. No offer to comp it, free dessert, free drink, candy bar or anything. Customer satisfaction and service is everything and when a customer has a bad experience every attempt should be made to make that customer feel appreciated and their business is valued at your restaurant and you don't want them to leave and never come back because of an unpleasant experience. We used this place as a meeting place for a very small reunion and spent all day Saturday inside visiting with never before seen family. The owner told us to make ourselves at home. She was very nice and treated all of us like family. When she found out what we were doing there she acted as excited as we all were. I had a philly cheese steak sandwich(very delicious) My wife had fajitas(great flavor) Everyone said their food was wonderful. We arrived at 11am and stayed until 3pm. Brazos is one of my favorite stores in town. The workers here all bring something unique to the table and their menu is un-replicated. They hold food choices that have something for everyone and their specials are tempting. What I also love is that they have a store section where they sell a lot of local items that help boost the economy in town.
