I never leave reviews but I joined about a month ago to try and get motivated to lose this darn quarantine weight. Jay the club manager is just awesome. Professional, excellent communication, and not pushy at all. I also did my fitness consultation with him and it was really eye opening. First, he has you stand barefoot on a machine that does a full body scan and it pumps out a sheet that has ALL your results. Many of the readings I would have no clue how to even decipher but it's way more detailed than just BMI. Really cool to see. Next, he has you do some mobility exercises and yep - I am definitely out of shape. I am low with fitness confidence, but he does not shame or judge. Just an all-around good guy that wants to help you meet your health and wellness goals. They participate in Medicare Fit Choices too where you can get $20 back each month if you go 8 or 12x per month, depending on your employer. Oh, all the equipment is new too. One thing that they do different is that they do bill WEEKLY. I know it sounds weird but hear me out. Yes, you can pre-pay for whatever you want but let me advise why you shouldn't. I did not go for a few days and a charge went through that I totally forgot about. In a way, it was a psychological trigger for me to be like, "Dude, you are paying for this membership so get in there and do something!" It worked because I was at the gym the next day. Noah is great to work with and is available to answer any questions like the sign up process, meal plans, the workouts etc... The 21 day challenge caught our attention so we decided to give it a try in December 2021 after 21 days, we committed to the program for 6 more months. If you are looking for a personal trainer but cannot afford it and/or looking for a team workout setting for motivation and accountability, this is the place. Mike does a great job with training and pushing you just right with each session. The apps that come with this program are great tools to track your progress and have made scheduling easy. Read moreI'm not typically a review writer, but the experience I've had so far warrants one for the Anytime Fitness in NE Minneapolis! I've been a member since November 2022 and primarily take advantage of the group training sessions. Facilities have always been clean and well-maintained during the 5-6x/week I'm there. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and it is great to have a gym where you feel a sense of community with the other members and with the staff. The coaches, Michael and Mo (with a shoutout to manager Ben's summer Saturday sessions!) are amazing, knowledgeable, and dedicated to each member they work with. They've really helped me understand the mechanics of many different exercises and the increases in overall strength I've gained working with them since joining has by far surpassed anything I have ever managed on my own!
