Golden Nails — Attraction in Minneapolis

0/10!!!! Me and a friend from work went to get manicure and pedicures. Our appointment was for 2pm but we didn’t get serviced until 3:15ish. First red flag!! They kept on servicing other customers that had came in after us before they finished us. We came in at 2pm and left at 6pm. I don’t like making things about race but this felt very intentional. All of the customers that came in after us were either older white ladies or white guys. Meanwhile my coworker and I are both black ladies. We tried making a point to leave around 3pm after been waiting an hour for our scheduled appointment, but as we got up, the man said “I’m almost done with the nails just wait.” Only for us to wait another 15 minutes for him to finish to get started on my friends nails. I went in to get my nails done for vacation. Worst Mistake!! While on vacation, the french tip peeled off of 4 toes within the same week I got them done. Mind you I was doing any activities where the polish would come off. I didn’t go swimming, running, clubbing or anything. I was just doing regular day to day activities while on vacation. I couldn’t even enjoy the pictures I took on vacation without me spotting the missing nail polish on my toes. Horrendous service and the nails do not last long. I went to get acrylics and they didn’t do any cuticle care before putting them on. I also showed a reference photo and my nails turned out nothing like it. After two weeks I went back to get them taken off. They were too thick and my nails started to hurt. The same woman who did my nails the two weeks prior was rough in taking them off, it was painful. After they were all off I asked her to please take care of my cuticles as she didn’t before. She just shaved them off using a tool. Another client came in and when I went to go wash my hands that client was sitting down in my chair and my wallet and keys were moved to a completely different table. It was incredibly disrespectful. She then squirted oil on my nails- didn’t even rub it in and told me to pay. It was $17 dollars for the removal. There was still glue and residue on my nails when I left. Just got my toes done today , Told me they could not do a design on regular polish ,like everyone don't want gel polish before it was gel it was regular polish.
