BE AWARE! MULTIPLE SERIOUS ISSUES!

I noticed centipede looking insects crawling on the floors & under the chairs. This was not relaxing for me.

She was rushing so fast and cut one of my nails so short on the side that it’s causing a nasty ingrown nail. This is causing me extreme pain. I wonder if they are certified?

They will rush your $60 deluxe pedicure and have it done within 35 minutes.

As you can read in previous reviews they will push you extremely hard to pay in CASH no matter what. You will feel uncomfortable. There’s something very very shady about this place.

I’m going back into the ‘nail salon’ to speak with them tomorrow regarding these serious issues.

UPDATE: I spoke with Kathy on the phone. She was very kind and apologetic and stated she would speak with the nail tech and owner regarding cutting to short. I mentioned that ingrown nails can cause serious medical issues and they need to take this seriously. Owner called today, wants to make it right. She cares about her business. I’m never going back to JK Nails. Last time, I told her I didn’t want gel polish (like the time before), yet I noticed they had to drill the polish off! Pisses me off cause if it’s gel, I can’t easily repaint them. Then, when she got done clipping the nails I asked her to make two of them shorter & she looked me in the eye and said “I know”…but with a snotty attitude. When she painted the first toe, I asked her to stop so I could pick a different one. It took me a minute to chose & while I’m looking at the colors she says something in a rude & boisterous tone in their native language & everyone laughed. Then she cut my big toenail so short it’s now ingrown & painful!!! I would also suggest to the owners that since they are in MN, relying on local women to come to your salon, that you don’t allow personnel to speak in Vietnamese- American women will assume you are talking trash about them & it’s not appreciated. I know some women want to record your girls & use translator later to know what they are saying. Be smarter if you want to...

I have been to many nail salons and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I had to wait almost an hour after my scheduled appointment for them to start on my nails. The technician didn’t understand enough English for me to communicate what I wanted. I had to communicate through another technician to explain to her. I changed what I wanted to something very simple (a single color) because the staff was extremely inexperienced and couldn’t do a pink and white ombre dip manicure, even though it’s advertised on their pricing boards. After all of that hassle, my nails still came out looking awful. They’re bumpy, dimpled, the sides have chips. I wouldn’t have paid for them and would have asked to speak with a manager if I wasn’t running late because I spent 2 hours in the salon. 0/10 I would not recommend and I will...
